Why would water and lava make obsidian, i see where you are coming from, but that is mincraft logic, obsidian is formed when lava cools on the surface.

@AnimeDemon doesn't matter if theres too many elements but i do think it's annoying that you can make the same thing multiple times over and over

great game, but missing some obvious combos like sand+paper=sandpaper, alcoholic+car=corpse, ghost+sex=succubus, ect.

Do you ever get to that point in the beginning of the game where you have made the boiler and you cant do anything with it?

I have to say, I was confused by a few of the combinations. Beetle Egg + Air = Bird? So you throw a beetle egg up in the air and it hatches into a bird?
Also, car + air = airplane (Throw the car up in the air enough, and it'll fly!) And some others were pretty redundant, like Life + Beast = Human and Human + Human = Sex. But, then again, if I were a god I'd spend far too much time building rather than smashing a beast into the ocean trying to make a whale. My planet would've probably been in ruins a couple billion years ago.
