As it is, it's very interesting and novel, but it's not a great game. If there were some more gameply facets introduced so that it wasn't just (relatively) random trial and error, it could be amazing.

Why doesn't beetle+beetle= The beetles? Or music? Or glass+tools = Light bulb? Or fire+glass= light bulb? And bricks+Human = house? House+House = Village + Village = city?? Okay i went too far, most of the combinations are stupid. Like Fire+Water is steam, not Alcohol. You should make a new version with more logical combinations, since these are just blind guessing. Also as louge said, you should be able to control stuff and such, or at least watch your city grow. Yet, can't wait for a sequel (And i doubt I'm the only one) and give it a 5/5. This game has one hell of a rating O.o If it's able to keep it that high might get 2nd or 3rd On the front page of The puzzle games. (Maybe even first if trolls keep rating Company of Myself and Loved 1/5.....)....Anyways!Rate up if you agree with me, Since i really want the developer to see this and consider all these changes for the possible sequel.

.......... the interface could be improved drastically to be more player friendly (i know it looks "pretty") but i wouldn't mind a graphically stripped down interface so i can more quickly navigate all the elements across groups... .........lastly, the entire game is simply aboot discovery, but i am never doing anything with these elements besides looking for the next combination (it might help to indicate that an element is tapped or even possibly has no current available combinations... ...........Good job on the game, it feels like you made a game out of the Civilization 1 Technology Tree

this game is not as good as everyone says - imho... i feel as though i am just guessing at what the developer wants. this could be solved by listing the elements to discover, or listing the # of elements within a group to help the player wants. i'm all for discovery, but the methods of doing such in this game are simply brute-force matching... ...........as others have said, you should not be able to redo combinations that have already been done...

Not sure what the lure is about this game. All it was, was combining items to make elements. The name is very misleading to what you may think it is. Doodle god makes you think of controlling the masses with some sort of pen that can make anything but you just make dumb stuff in this game.

finished and like most people somehow i finshed with bread dough plust fire was the first thing that came to my mind when i made dough

Finally finished. Last element was cigarettes. I got steam engine before life, but it took me forever to get past trees and wheels in their respective groups.
