This is fantastic. It's got some of the magic that Link to the Past had, but it would be pretty difficult to recreate that. You did a great job! The game is fun, not too short or long, graphics are good, gameplay is good. I suggest making the leveling different next time. As it stands you pretty much advance evenly because you can't just wait and save up XP for other things while ignoring Magic for example.
Having different magic spells you learn instead of just one, and equip like the weapons, would be cool.
Add a skill or magic item for walking speed increase!
If your world gets any larger you should add teleportation circles so you can get from one side of the map to the other quickly. Make it like a network and you can choose from any activated teleporter when you step on one.

Not 20 hours to complete fully, but fun. A bit too much farming required for cash. I think the game is really a satire of the old Zelda types, instead of a loving parody... shows how much of it is hack 'n slashing... Fun version though.

This is amazing, but please don't force me to kill all the enemies in a room on my way BACK. If I want the experience I will do it, but otherwise it's just annoying. Most of the time, I just kill myself as it's quicker.

forget band aids, just get anything to lvl 21. magic makes all spells cost 1 mp, hp makes all damage only -1hp to you, and attack shoots out three lightning bolts doing 999 each

Agree with PotatoEngineer -- bosses are a real problem with an otherwise first-rate game; the key challenge to beating any given boss is generally whether your finger gets tired after hitting the "z" key 150 times. Beautiful art and nice world design -- a rip of Zelda in many ways, but a soulful and well executed rip. 5/5

Bosses in Col are at 22 and 30 I think. It's not at 20.
Attack is the best skill to upgrade. Save all money for the frost sword and buy it asap.

A most excellent game with a handful of annoying design flaws. Please, make *better* bosses, not *higher-HP* bosses. If designing a decent boss AI is too hard, then just make it invulnerable for part of the time or something; giving a boss 20,000HP just makes the boss BORING.

lame. repetitive. hence boring. making the player re-kill a roomful of monsters just to get back to the exit is a dictionary example of crappy level design. easy, true, but only interesting if you're bored into idiocy

i said i hate this game mite as well add it to my favs to help the dev, he spent lotsa time. i didn't luv it cuz i had a stick, paper as armor, and a wooden shiled, and i had that fer like...... at least 30 minutes. i was like..... get me some damn armor! then i see the shop and i get 20 coins MAX per kill and it says 5000 im like 0.o0.o0.0o0.o but now i luvs it =D w00t 1 hit kills!
