Okay, this game is impossible to completely get the hang of. The sheer reliance on random events and incomprehensibly fast reflexes makes an excellent game a little less excellent. What would remedy this is some behind-the-scenes cheating. I recommend the following: 1.) Make hitboxes for ground objects 10% larger than the sprites themselves. 2.) Have boosting objects spawn at a steady rate, gradually increase the spawn rate over time, and reduce by some amount when an object is hit (reduce extra for Berzes, MCs, and Cannons). 3.) When Comeau approaches the ground, calculate the time to impact with ground. If the player swings when he is less than 0.1 seconds from the ground, he should get a Power Smash, whether the sprites collide or not; so that even when Comeau is falling at over 2,000 ft/s, a Power Smash is still feasible.

Major glitch! I Landed in a cannon, and I wanted to get the trophy Solar Fly, so I shot it straight up. I couldn't move forward at ALL, and when the nerd went down the hit ended

The game is fun, and probably the best incarnation of this style game Ive seen yet, but it suffers from what all these games suffer from, it becomes boring and monotonous after a while, but thats just the game style.
From what Ive noticed, the "line drive" approach that most ppl have mentioned (I.E. setting the trajectory as low as possible) works really well, especially in conjunction with the beer belt (50% moar berzerkers ftw). This combo pretty much ensures that your initial hit will end you hitting a berzerker which is an easy 75k+ more feet without using a power smash.
The other thing Ive noticed, it seems control is a more worthwhile stat then power. It looks like the distance bonus you get from holding the right key down is a multiplier of the geeks base speed. So the faster he's moving to begin with the control effect is that much greater. This combined with the aforementioned tactic = win.

question: "Trophy: Hit the geek with a Power Smash 2 Seconds after launch"... ... Has it appeared to anyone else? Although I can't remember the exact text, I aimed at 0º and max power, didn't got any bees or cannons, made a Power Smash and a Trophy popped up... Maybe there are hidden trophies?????????? MAYBE... can't be sure...

Ballon level 18 with top two bars fully upgraded. Frost sword metal bracer, ninja headband, walkman. Hit the red patch 2 below the white patch when aiming and a killer shot..... 1,634,479 Feet!

Are the badges working? I played this a while ago and came back, and even after playing a few trials there's no progress noted on badges.

power > bouncing on creatures > accuracy
won the badge with the beer, the ninja band and the metal bracer as well as the ice sword (sure thing...). horizontal start, try to hit something good and keep the geek up with your power smashes. try to gain most horizontal velocity, the geek will keep himself up by hitting bees. additionally i think etienne was by far the most easy character to get this badge.

shot him about almost parallel with the ground, hit some combination of power hit, robot, and cannon, and blammo, height over 105k.

The only problem with the locked content is that all the high scores belong to those who CHEAT!.
if a seperate set of high scores existed for the rest of us there would be no problem, as all trophies and achievements are obtainable without the use of kreds.
