I agree with others here - the first stage is entirely too hard. I'm on my 7th try already and there's no sign of much progress beyond that anytime soon. I think the damage is just too high with no real way to dodge projectiles early on. The first few upgrades don't seem to help a whole lot, either. The first level difficulty is really perplexing since the game is so polished looking and fun otherwise. :/

I'm really disappointed in berzerkstudios as all the other games i have played by them have been good. In my opinion unless some stuff is changed with this game it was a complete waste of time. Also i think you should finally make hero's arms 2 as the first one was awesome! My expectations are still high for berzerk!

hm. kind of short and not much of a story. homing guns are a little cheap because then you can just sit to a side and do nothing while all your homing rockets kill everything around you.

A good game with levels which needs some skill to get through and those who think it is to hard should play the old top-down-shooters in before. These were hard games even on easy diffiiculty setting and there was no retry either get through or start all over was the motion in these times. So all in all stop whining and apreciate a good and challenging game a bit more.

I, personally, HATE this. The first MC was 3x better. And why the hell is there a crosshair when you can only aim straight? And why is the first mission so damn hard?!?!

What can you do to make huge purple tanks with missiles and lasers even better? Stick spiky wheels of doom on the sides.

1st mission is quite hard, but its not boring seeing as getting xp isnt hard to come by ", controls are a bit weird but managble (would have liked x and z but oh well)

plah..this game was quite dissapointing...i liked MC 1 and 2 more i hated the way how u move, it should have been the same like before, and the game requires too many retries! i even had to retry the first lvl many times. i only give 2 stars and i know im gonna get lots of thumb down points but this is just my opinion

bug, the secondary weapon: High Caliber Cannon has no effect.
I see the muzzle flash, but no sound and nothing happens to the targets.

There should be a badge for completing the first level! Its was too hard and too a lot of replays! Needs a difficulty setting with rewards for playing on higher difficulties.

I think id prefer shooting with spacebar and using like A or something for speaaacial. shooting with the mouse is odd when i only shoot one way

Things that need to be changed. 1. First mission is hard to beat and takes to many times of retrying. 2. If you play on their website you get 10% more xp. 3. Movement is to slow on ship at the beginning unless using the attachment for 1 hp. 4. It should say if you get a new item and then ask if you want to change your ship (I found it annoying when i wanted to retry and then found out i had something new to add/change.)

I'm actually quite disappointed in this game. Not only is it a rehashing of what the previous game was like, but it's actually got less content. The other game assured that you could use what you wanted to the effect you wanted; here it's just arranging things so that you fire the most guns you can to destroy everything in front of and around you, and you don't even get the luxury of moving around as you do.
This feels like a prequel game to the previous, and not because of the story, but by how limited the game feels overall. This is seriously a downgrade compared to the previous one.

Don't name it Mechanical Commando if it's an entirely different game :/ I read "MC" and wanted to play the topdown shooting game with free movement.... not some casual vertical shooter....
