This game fell very short of what I was expecting for the third Mechanical Commando. In the previous there was strategy, but now its just a top-down plane shooter.

i'm so glad the screen shakes every time you kill an enemy. i really enjoy the extra challenge of playing through a headache.

its good but it would have been better to just make a mc 3 instead of minigame sidestory. which is what it this game feels like.

I guess Im just really really terrible, that, or having a weapon that requires you to get *right* behind the enemy while theyre shooting at you is a bad design choice. This game would be so much easier if you could you know.. aim, instead of practically being a missile with a machine gun taped to its front. Eh, just might not be my type of game, 3/5 for the good art work and the effort it mustve took, though I really didnt enjoy it.

I really like this game, but did I miss something? It's really anti-climactic... is anything really added in the last level? The gate laser thing has been done before... it's still okay, but not really last boss quality. Even if it had a lot more lasers and was hard that sort of thing just doesn't have last boss presence . The laser boss the level before is a lot better battle. But, it still stands... the first few levels were interesting, but I think there just wasn't even new stuff later on... your firepower increase exceeds the enemies' power increase, so it loses thrill as it goes on... bosses are also pretty much damage sinks... they aren't particularly threatening even if they take forever to kill. Still, overall a great game!

Concerning level 1, Level 1 is actually considerably easier than level 3. You just have more upgrades in level 3, so it seems easier. Level 1 is just hard because you have nothing good. :P

Actually i kinda like the game the crosshair is kinda weird since i can only shoot straight. I only had to retry three times and I past the mission it is super easy after that...

1. Get the Autocannon early on 2. Your new attack key is space, forget that silly, no aim "primary weapon". Once you get the shotgun it's actually worth it to bother pressing anything besides space again 3. Beat bosses while staying conveniently in their dead spots 4. Profit :)

No mission is too hard. The enemys at the beginning stages are tougher than in common beginning Stages, but these stages still without bigger problems beatable. Just try to use both weapons and a bit of strategy, and you can kill most of them with the beginner equipment. I have beaten nearly all Missions in the first try and without any repeating for EXP collecting (The only lost Mission was the Mission, where i tried the hardcore Module), and im not a really good gamer!!!

I obtained all of the upgrades before completing the first level. Just an idea, but I think that is a sign that the first level is too hard.

Cool game - 5/5. One suggestion though - fire lock. It would be nice if there was another button/key to toggle firing on and off because i'm lazy and holding down extra keys tires me out.

Tip for starting players: The "Auto-Aim" weapon is a machine gun that locks on to smaller targets automatically. It helps when you're killing the small bullet-launching jet planes and helicopters in the early stages.

I'm loading the game.
I think it will be sensational.
Berserk The Studio is very good.
It was hours playing games of Berserk.
Thanks for reading my comment.
Sorry for my English.

SIR! Shouldn't we shoot at the enemy ships and tanks? NO! Just shoot straight forward, the enemy will find their way in front of us! BUT SIR, that means we have to fly in front of their shots too! OF COURSE IT DOES!

After playing this, I really wanted to give it a 5/5, but with the difficulty ramp (more like cliff) in the beginning I just can't. I only gave it 4/5 because of one major flaw. I was more or less forced to grind on level 1 and 2 until I unlocked weapons that were good enough to beat the third level and the others. Up until I had homing missiles and the heavy machine gun I just got slaughtered. By the end, the setup I had was the hellfire cannon, homing cluster, medium armored cockpit, strong capacity wings, and azote chilling system (improved the homing missiles). The levels were a walk in the park at that point, even the final one.

And unless I'm mistaken, you don't get XP for everything you kill? Only for those that drop it (and which you subsequently pick up)? Also, enemies have too much armor/HP or initial weapon is just too weak. Even the weakest enemies take significant sustained damage before they are destroyed. Despite all of this, the game is surprisingly fun, but it really feels that everything is stacked against you from the very beginning.
