Great game!
some advices on what to improve:
1) Show how a skill will improve if you're adding more points to it.
2) Shield should have some passive use without actively blocking.
3) When blocking, it shows a counter for "number of turns", but every turn the counter resets, so what's the point of it?

A bug: when you mute the music and reload the game, the music is back on, even though the meter shows that it should be off.

If all three of your guys are on the ground, and there is nothing offensive you can do, you have to still play several rounds sometimes until you guys are finally killed. There is no quick ending button, or way to get out of a pointless long winded defeat.

I love the game but please! fix the skill tree! why do I have to waste all of my points on speed and other pointless upgrades to reach 4x attack! also please make it possible to load my game here on kongregate!!

I found a glitch for berzerk studios, I erased my game to start fresh and all the achievements for each Colosseum were still completed now I get no rewards

I think that when you delete your character it doesn't delete your achievements. I don't know if it's by design or not, but it doesn't seem fair.

@MoonSpear - I had similar issue - I had only one gladiator alive at the end of the battle, and he had lost his arm thus could not carry 2-handed weapon, but the battle was won and this gladiator finished opponents with his left hand.

the computer's block is unbreakable at lvl 50+, wich sucks, you have to make sure you kill the high lvl blockers with head/body shots

The Tarsus achievement "Win a combat without losing a gladiator" is bugged. I have won several times here without losing anyone and it hasn't given me the money.

I have something I would like to point out about the game really quick, I killed an enemy, or at least I think I did, I could no longer target him and he could no longer participate, well my slave buddy, who I put on auto, decided he would attack said man laying on the ground. he hit him then that guy got up and looked like he was waiting for the end of the match, not sure what is going on.

i think the AI needs to be tweaked a little bit i have them on auto for laziness 1/2 awesomeness but some times they will continue to attack a downed foe.

There is a glitch after resetting your progress. It shows your previously unlocked locations as open when they are not, and previously won goals as completed.

you should really fit the whole battle on the screen. The whole moving left- right is pretty annoying especially on lower end machines and it it is pretty annoying to actually hit the target you want. The whole three-four steps are also pretty slow. Maybe give an option for speed but definitely do something so that the targets don't move and also maybe put a little more space between them sometimes it's hard aiming at someone's leg if the lower one still has his head on :( Otherwise great game so far. Could really use some speeding up and a marker for whether or not the enemy is on the front row or the back one(which won't be needed if all the gladiators are fit into a single window). Also some better description on skills would be nice but it's not a major.

It would be cool if the guy used his second weapon in the kill scenes after a fight if there is more than one enemy. or maybe give him an array of death blows

I have quite easy tactic for all of the enemy types: TWO-HANDED - Cut off at least one arm or leg. This always works, as they won't be able to attack. 2 WEAPONS - The only way to make them not attack you is to cut off his/her leg. POLEARM - Depends. If they can ONLY throw it at you, cut the arm with weapon. If they can shield bash you, cut off a leg. If they can both, then you have to decide what is more dangerous for you. WEAPON AND SHIELD: If it's not polearm, then cut off leg. This will screw them up and won't attack you, because with what? For Polearms already mentioned. Rate this up so everybody can see it!

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD: WHEN YOU LEAVE THE OPPONENTS CRUMBLING AND THEY DON-T HAVE SPEARS YOU SHOULD WIN THE BATTLE. I SOMETIMES LOSE BECAUSE MY PLAYERS DIE WHEN MY OPPONENTS ARE ON THE FLOOR SINCE A LONG TIME AGO

karma, 2x attack increases its accuracy every level atleast, not sure if it gets stronger.. but once its maxed its fairly accurate even with low dexterity..

Dude, if you take their arm health to 0 for a two handed weapon (spears are 1 handed) they can not attack anymore. They can use techniques like intimidate to screw you over though.

winning should award more money then you get. You get more money by selling loot then winning which kindoff breaks the intent of wanting to win. At least make winning worthwhile by giving money on perhaps how much damage you did to the enemy or how little damage you have. Right now you just try to scrape money together which makes the game tedious quickly. Fixing and balancing this issue already would ake the game a lot more interesting.

There is something that need to be work on: 1) Tarsus's/Alexandria's losing no gladitor aren't working. I finish rome and come back to tarsus/Alexandria, not lose a single HP and still not getting an award. I tried not killing any enemy/chopping any of their body parts and it still doesn't work!!!

to prevent losing game data I think there should be a SAVE GAME button... because I am level 1 again and it sucks that I lost 19 hours of game play. and I was starting to enjoy my team too... ALSO the skill that lets you block for teammate is buggy (doesn't always trigger to jump in front and block and after 1 round the character will still jump in front to protect but won't be blocking with shield)

I had a team of 3 gladiators all level 38 and then this game crashes, and now when I load up I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN... :(
