Getting through enemy armor is a boring slog that serves only to extend the length of fights. Also, an option to increase battle speed would be nice.

@qryan23: Find a non-armored body part and attack it. After that, they should be disabled. Now focus on attacking the body/head (choose ONE). If they are fully armored, focus on attacking at ONLY the body or head.

It's way too difficult to earn money. I had to repeat battles a bunch in the first city, but eventually got through it. Now I'm at the second city, and... no, just no. I'm out, cya. 2/5 from me.

Game is glitched , at 4th city Tarsus. It's said that one of the goals is Win a combat without losing a gladiator. No matter how i win... the achievement don't pop.

You need to seriously review the blocking chances on the enemies at later levels. You stand no chance if your enemy continuously uses the shield bash, blocks 9 out of 10 attacks and counter-attacks you on every single of his blocks. No chance whatsoever...

So, a lvl 4 slave is 600. But a lvl 10 slave is 18000?
Also, the volume button doesn't seem to work. Even on the lowest setting, the music is still audible.

Ahm, is Auto fixed now or is it going to be fixed? I don't really remember. Just, the Nature of the Game makes battle very long, Auto is god send - till my Team decided to basically always Attack the enemy which is already done, bleeding to Death and general if you Manual Attack not even possible to attack. That manual seems to put my Agressor in the Front and not even uses his Attacks to hurt the enemy, just only using MP-Rain, I can live with^^ Put yes, attacking Enemy that are already defeated - not really nice^^" (does it count even as a Bug?)

Why is it that when you cut someones leg off they are still not knocked out? They should automatically get knocked out . If you agree + this comment.

I don't know if it has been said but, you should make a way that we can pierce trought armor. Like with criticals hits or trowing a polearm. I'm sure you'll find a way i think it will be much appreciate by the players.

Some of your goals are either cryptic or just buggy ... I can't seem to "Win a combat without losing a gladiator" in Tarsus, even though I've certainly won battles without anyone dying. Do I not comprehend the point of the goal, or is it the game?

Might I ask how someone who is missing a leg is able to dodge my attacks...or even get up and jump around to execute my team?

how about if you have a two handed weapen, and you louse an arm, you can use your fists insted... its really making me angry when i die because i louse my ability to fight for i lost an arm

i think that the hit chances need to be re worked i have a 89% hit chance and miss but my side kick has a 54% chance and gets a hit that has happened four times in a row so far and the NPC players never seem to miss but aside from that good game

Please make a skill calculator when I'm deciding skills. How about an undo button for if I misclick. A more detailed weapon information panel would be great too, to tell me how much dexterity is subtracted for two handed and other weapon types. The skills also seem to be unbalanced especially at the start of the game. Would you mind putting in a gold way of resetting the blacksmith in the town you are currently at. I do not like the 10-15 minute wait every time, especially at the beginning. Please add quest counter, such as how many arms have I cut, because otherwise I don't know if what I am doing is counting at all. The loot comes in to slowly or not at all sometimes. An increase to pick up the pace of the game would be nice, I do the kill option at the end and get 0 items at times. Either make a default price for slaves and charge based on color editing, or give it some actual meaning thanks. Why not add in the characters from beserk baseball or other games as custom characters.

does the health % from cure also include armor? cause it really shouldn't. and it'd make way more strategic sense if it was limb-based with higher hit point recovery. Also, is the block counter from shield bash broken? because it says turns left, but the counter never changes, and whenever it's your turn, it goes away anyhow.

when my characters are on auto.. they will soem times attack opponents that they had disemboweled and I assumed were dead.. Also I have had a legless gladiator hop across the field to execute opponents at the end. There are some bugs..

I would like a change of font color on the skill tree. It is a very similar red as the background where it says numbers of points till next skill unlocked in the tree.

Decent game guys. I really enjoyed the ability to attack different limbs. This has been something I have dreamed of in a gladiator game for a while now. On the other hand, the battle sequences are very slow and tedious. The game would improve tenfold if there were smoother faster animations in the battle screen so the game could move more quickly. Another big thing that really irked me was the amount of time it took to get gold. Having to replay battles multiple times just to buy an additional slave or weapon can be quite frustrating. Overall, this game has some great ideas but it definitively still a work in progress. I would give it 3.5/5.

Bug report: When you delete the game save and want to restart, the GOAL is not reset and you will not be able to get the achievement again.

BUG: If I cut off the shield-arm of someone who is blocking, he can still block(and counter-attack) until it's his turn again.

The slave price progression is extreme, an average slave is hundreds of times more expensive than the most expensive item for the later cities. Even if I add up all the gold I have made since the start of the game, I still come well short of affording a slave in Rome.

Regardless of these complaints, the game is still a 4/5 for me. It absorbed a good 12 hours of my life and that was impressive. It's just a shame I've hit a point where I'm not having fun anymore. But the 12 hours I did spend were a blast. I was completely addicted. I loved the battle system, albeit flawed as it is. Great job, guys. Sorry I had to take up 3 comment slots.

And try to the fix balance because battles range from (Even in Carthage still) to pitifully easy to "OH MY GOD WHAT THE HECK?!" especially in battles with what I've nicknamed 'Ultimate Defense' shields. If they turn block on with counter attack, I've pretty much lost.
And give a wider range of goals with more offering me metals. There are 24 inventory slots total with all three party members to fill. Even in a perfect world and I obtained a piece of armor I use with every metal purchased through kongregates kreds, I'm still significantly over paying. As a player, I eventually want to reach a point where I have what I can consider the best gear, but I don't want to feel like I need to pay you 120 dollars to give me it.

Note - This starts off negative, but I do have some compliments. I loved this game, but I really stress the past tense in this. By the time I've hit Carthage the game has just become mind numbingly boring through the grind. Leveling has become a chore, and the -small- rewards I get from it barely justify the amount of time dedicated to getting there. Now, while I completely understand the metals idea for money to gain a revenue stream and reimburse every one who worked on it, this should not become such a heavy part of the game. Nothing in the shops ever compare to what the metals can make. Never. I'd even be okay if they costed 20k (As I have like 120k just sitting with me since upgrades are so few.) I think this game has a metric ton of potential. It's swords and sandals taken by a much better game producer, but it still isn't quite there yet. Give me less grind, or at least make the grind feel easier.
