Contrary to popular belief, the emperor did not give a thumbs up or down for a gladiator as a signal to kill his enemy. The emperor (and only the emperor) would give an open or closed hand – if his palm was flat, it meant “spare his life”, if it was closed, it meant “kill him”. If a gladiator killed his opponent before the emperor gave his permission, the gladiator would be put on trial for murder, as only the emperor had the right to condemn a man to death. In the image above we see this myth in action.

When you buy the slave, the stats and skills resets to 0, so you can manually redistribute all his stats. The slave market guy distribute stats randomly but once you get it, you get a free redistribute so you can upgrade the slave like you want. NOT TRUE!!!!!

im having a problem with "Diana's Gladiators" in the first coliseum; when i try to attack them the game goes black and doesnt respond

Need some help understanding the goals. example: Win 5 contender battles (in Athena). What is a Contender battle? I won 8 battles in Athena so far but the status is still 0/5.

I find it hard to fight in the Tarsus and Syracus Stadiums. I wish we could buy the same equipment that they have. I can't win a single fight. Also, stronger arms would be helpful.

Playing the June 13th updated version now, and about the only complaint I can make is that it isn't clear what it takes to accomplish some of the Goals. The Goal in Massillia, for example, to "dismbowel 10 gladiators." I'm killing them by attacking the torsos, but that doesn't seem to be enough. do I need to score the killing blow with a specific weapon type, like a trident? Make it clear what the Goals are, and I'll do them.

Just a bit of historical stuff here, if the emperor used the 'thumbs down' sign, what he meant was lay down your arms or mercy. Thumbs up meant go on kill 'em.

I register in Kong te save the game but when I get startend on my saved game the game flashes and get black the game screen, I think starandold talks about the same problem.

I think that there should be bosses that are bigger and stronger and take more strategy. Also im having trouble playing it more than once like it saves but when i hit play it starts a new game.

I found a glitch... right before the fight button 3 question marks appear and when i click fight it goes back to the choose team page but i cannot click on anything

You should have some sort of end battle option or auto end battle after x turns
I am currently in a loop where I have a guy set to auto and both my guy and the opponents last guy are crowd appealing, while my guy is occasionally using intimidate. This has been going on for a while and neither one is taking any damage in any form

They should put a button in the coliseum that says skip battle. If all your people are on auto well anyways it would skip to the end and it would say win or lose which ever it is.

That was funny! One of my guys had his leg chopped off, but, when he executed the opponents, he got off the ground and hopped over for the kill.

On June 20,2012 I spent 20 kreds on metal pack #1 and did not receive it. Logged in several times and have waited; but Nothing! Can't say I'm happy.

I like how my gladiators get their arms chopped off in a fight and, one minute later, it's as nothing ever happened :D

am i the only one that the game won't let go past athena? i've beat everything up to it. but once i click "fight" on athena the game crashes

BUG:
I'm not sure if this was meant to happen (probably not), but when I do the protect technique, and change my mind into choosing an attack, I am capable of attacking myself and my teammates. It's weird when it happens, but when you do it it freezes up the whole battle, causing me (and others who try it if this hasn't been fixed yet) to refresh the page and start over. I'm sorry if this HAS been fixed, and this is a worthless post, but it happened to me, and I hope it doesn't happen to any of you guys.

I have one more sugestion.When you see you are definite winner on the mach,it should be auto battle option(mabe speeded up a bit) wich will defenetly relefe some of players

please lower the cost of the gladiators from slave market. it's practically impossible to buy the more expensive ones

It would be nice to see special or rare items in the shop together.
Maybe add an extra button to sort on rarity would be nice.

Good game, I like to auto grind...very nice.....lots of equipment to sort through, almost too much. The points do make a difference in the skills, mostly duration or strength. Ending was weak.....lots of work for a "you have conquered rome" and taadaa games done!

I'm running into a situation about mid to late game, where all my opponents have much better gear than me, and the shop keeps offering sub par equipment.

I'm with BowWow, could we please turn off the effects. Also, could we put in a "pass" button so that when a character is down we don't have to crowd appeal or block? Other than that, i'm one of the rare few that doesn't mind grinding. Oops, my bad, one last...if looted items are of lesser quality than what we are already selling off, could we have a cash option? One more last *grins* would it be possible to organize inventory by item, perhaps just by being able to insert the item where we want?

next version will b awesome game if..
1- there be missions n quest n conquering other continent
2- after winning in colleseum, in contender fighting there'll b lord champions foes n defeat foes for unique epic items
3- marketplace! beside buy n sold gears. might b good to have a shop for alchemy items n materials to buil potions, upgrade n create gears
4- dungeon arena, after conquering all colleseum n portal to unknown areas
5- gems for imbueing..
6- taverns for side quest n wanted list
7- free choose for skills instead of spending skills to unwanted, unnecessary skills..
that's all for now i think even i there's more.. thx...
love this game ! :) would it b good if they have limit break attack for fighting bosses? hehehe
