A game like this ought to be made big. but there are a couple of things that i would like to add. first off... leveling up is a bit of a pain and we only receive 1 ability point. perhps more should be given as its very tedious to keep playing old missions to level painstakingly.Also, thegoals should be updated for tougher goals and better reward system. The game developers might want to look at that. Overall i'd give this game 4.5/5 rating.

The blacksmith made me some really cool armor (Pluto's somethingorother) and I equipped one of my fighters with it, but I left the game and came back later and my fighter was back to her previous armor, and the nice stuff wasn't in my inventory, but the smith was out of metal.

Oh look, I just defeated an enemy with a pilum. What do I loot? A knife! It's like playing a FPS and getting stuck only with a revolver while everyone else has automatic weapons.

Well, the game proved me wrong right after typing my previous comment. It seems like they don't shield bash if they also know Power Attack.

There are serious balance issues...AI spamming shield bash and gets 5 rounds of block. 97% chance of hitting and miss 8 out of 10 times...opponents have too many points in their stats for the levels that they have...I loot garbage most of the time and the stores have crap items too much of the time...just changed my rating to 1/5.

when you click trophies to see your rank and you see the exp bar could you out line the exp bar so you can see where it ends easier

Fun fact: you may open a damn hole through someone's body, but he will not bleed much and you will be the one to lose :)

The only thing i have to complain about is the imbalanced rome contenders. getting 1 shot on every turn. still maintain you should just beef up the items in the store until your next level cap raise.

Addictive game. I do have some thoughts:
1) with high hit percentages, my guys miss way too much
2) When I actually get loot after a win, it is awful loot. It is usually about 10 levels of usefulness behind where I am which is ironic because I am fighting teams 10 levels above where I am. Why can't we get something that the defeated team was actually using?
3)Does defense only affect blocking or do it have an effect on dodging and missing as well? Maybe something could clear that up.
4) Could we speed up the blood spray? At first, it was fun to see the disemboweling graphic, but it gets old. The same thing applies to the executions.
5) Weapons are too expensive for what you earn for winning; new slaves' prices are prohibitive. I understand that you are trying to make real money, but maybe a lesser option that's affordable but not at level 1?
6)multipliers for technique attacks would be useful; ie: what percentage boost do you get for power attack, etc...

Rome's Contenders do not have the 60 lvl ceiling, they seem to be superjuiced and not in balance to my fighter's maxed skills. Only lucky battles win ...
But good game !!! Looking forward to updates or PvP.

MY team wont use more then one tech when on automatic ex when my spear/shield girl didn't use shield bash when her spear hand was dismembered

Bleed Reduce should reduce the bleeding effect, but not stop it completely. The opponent went 4 turns without taking any bleeding damage while his body had 1/2 health.

@Pontos, it's a passive ability where it diminishes the bleeding effect (Mainly on Throwers) and you can get it from the ability tree all the way to the left. It's not a bug.

Bug: When all 3 of your Gladiators are disabled, Enemy units stop bleeding even though they have lost 1/2 of their hit points. I ran into a situation where I should have outlasted the Enemy (he should have bleed out first), however he stopped bleeding and continued to attack and won.

Bug: Passive Skills do not work with Inventory Items. (Example: I have 15/15 in Defense Boost, which should give +60% Defense per point. If I add an item with +10 Defense it should add +16 to the character but it only adds +10.

the Rome contenders became too powerful all of a sudden, so frustrating all 3 ganging up on a shield bearer took forever to hit

in addition to Karma Cat, the passive, tier 2 boost skills stay at 4% boost. If the minor bugs in this game get worked out I would give it 5/5. right now 4/5 and favorited. I hope to see an entire series of this awesomeness. If kong added the badges to this it would be 6/5!

The NPC enemy can target the unarmored torso bodypart using Armor Break while I protect one of my teammates, it should be 0 damage. Please fix it.

Idea, add some sort of fame bar in the battles that affects the ratio on what the crowd wants (blood or mercy) misses,dodges, cut of limbs and the crowd pleaser could effect this bar. so far enjoying the game and looking forward to future updates =) top rated and faved ;D
