For the goal that reads 'cut' one of each body part and disembowel in the same match, you do not just have to make them bleed, you have to sever each body part.

It woud be nice to have some kind of "yield" button that could skip straight to losing a match instead of having to slowly watch the other guys killing my one remaining gladiator.

having the same problem go to fight and it freezes and goes black and then to the fight select screen over and over. Great game would like to see how cool it is with a whole team set up so hope this gets fixed soon.

Great game for sure, definitely some stuff that needs working on though. First of all, since the game was updated, the game bugs out or freezes constantly. One of the most common problems I seem to have, is that I choose a battle, and the enemies are shown on the prebattle screen, except they have question marks in front of them. After trying to initiate the fight, everything stops, the game freezes, and the screen flashes black every 30 seconds or so. Also, several times in the middle of combat the game has frozen. While I am typing this, the game bugged out as an enemy used an attack, and never returned to his side. The enemy is standing directly in front of my gladiator, and they are all just standing their in their standing animations, but I cant do anything at all. And lastly, there NEEDS to be a speed up button, or at least an option to end the fight immediately if your opponents have no way of putting up an offense.

OK, I'm now convinced that the %chance to hit is badly programmed in this game. This guy has a 99% chance to hit (He's not blocking with his shield) and I've missed 4 times in a row. Fix this please.

The higher the rank of your enemy compared to yours, the faster you level up.
So if you need money:
go to london, buy 3 new slaves, give them your good stuff, the other gladiators ware and let them fight against high class enemys like the best in carthago. in 2 fights they are over level 10 and you can sell each for more than 10k gold. (don't forget to get your good things back!)

Auto AI stuck on crowd appeal every battle. Moves to the back row and crowd appeals over and over. Full MP and still looking for more no matter who's dead or injured on either side.

I am not sure at all if that was intended, but I would suggest that the stat "Defense" do more than just increase your chances of blocking, else it is utterly useless to any gladiator that doesn't wear a shield. Maybe it should reduce the damage you take, or maybe increase the solidity of your armor pieces, maybe a bit of both. Because all other stats can be useful to everyone but this. Thanks for any consideration, this game is pretty entertaining and I am happy to see you take all those updates seriously, I'm grateful for the games you share <3

Could you add a feature that would transfer a fraction of overkill damage against limbs to the chest? I feel kinda conned when I hit 500 damage on a 236 health arm =/

If the game freezees or fight doesnt work, go to the main screen and press "Delete All".. it doesnt delete anything but fix the problem. The cut a leg, an arm a head and disembowel is a hard archiv but it is posible.

Freezes on the opponent selection screen. I select an opponent and click fight and it comes back to the same screen. That's a bug.

just a thought, money seems to come in very quickly espeacially as im moving to new cities, at first when I had armor I thought when it broke it was gone and damaged you had to repair it it would be something more to do with money so I dont have too much

It would be nice to get experience even if you lose the fight.
Not as much as you win but at least some.
The shop needs improvement. There are just weaker weapons than my gladiators have.
It would be good to buy better equipment than the current one I have.
But otherwise this is a great game.

Shield bash really needs to be re-addressed. The ability to launch any attack and still have the block up is way overpowered.

9. For an ememy with two sowrds disable a foot and attack them first. Otherwise for an enemy with a throwable item disable the throwing arm, 2nd priority (because they will have a shield and lower your hit % sometimes). Enemy with two hand weapon, diable a hand first...; 10. Armor Break should be maxed out on a team member with a shield and short weapon (no throw items). 2x cut should be maxed out on one of the other members. Speed Boost and Strength Boost must be maxed out period.

5. Upgrade to equipment with the most defense to begin with, then after 4 cities, go for eqipment that has good defense but buffs Speed Strength or Dexterity...; 6. Play in auto mode! If you can't win in auto mode (until the last city) you researched the wrong thing and/or your team is weak sauce...; 7. Fight until your reputation open a new city, so that you can buy better equipment at the next city...; 8. Manual play the last 5-6 levels of the last city so you don't have to wait for a higher level...; 8. You winning combos through all this will be 2x/4x cut, 2x/4x cut then ArmoreBreak/Power Attack...;

Beat the game at lvl 52. =) ... Strategy: 1. Strength Dex and Speed are the only things you should add point to...; 2. Do NOT research anything in Provocatores, Murmillo or Retariuss: aka no SHEILD BASH, no BOOST MORALE, no THROW...; 3. Hire some slaves asap, and never hire again, just let them level up...; 4. Two team members should use 2x cut and research that shain up to 4x cut, but do NOT waste more than 1 point on BLOOD RAGE. The third teammate should get Power Attack and research that chain up to CRITICAL BOOST. Anything above critical boost is useless...;

Your first battle should be tutorial-ish. Something as simple as having a hover-over tooltip displaying detailed information on each command during the first battle (or even further battles, have it toggle-able in the options) would probably help new players a lot. I know I for one had no idea what the "Row" command was for to begin with, and how exactly "Block" works isn't exactly detailed. Furthermore, any analytic statcruncher like me would like some way of knowing an estimate of how much each attribute attributes towards (such as how good Defense, Strength or Dex are).
