how freaking fast are rome contenders? they outclass me so far after 8/20 im getting smashed at the start duel wield x4 all crit haha and even shield spear and two hand weapon users go before me. all my gladiators have over 100 spd and lvl are 50 back to grinding i suppose

If you refresh the game after being to shop, the game will reset to right after your last battle. It is annoying when you find a good item in the shop, buy it, and then lose it because you close the browser. If you use some metal at the blacksmith and refresh, you will lose both the item and the metal you used.

Okay, they nerfed counter attack waaaay too hard. I have it maxed out and after 10 rounds of blocking I never counter attacked once...

with the last goal in nicomedia (cut an arm, a leg,a head and disembowel in a single match) it doesnt have to be on one person right? ive just fought the first multi membered team and done that(cut arm and leg on the bottom cut, head on the top and disemboweled the middle) but i havnt recieved the goal as done

heres my strategy--- always kill opponents in this order. 1--shields+ spears, 2---shields + weap, 3--- two handed, 4--- double wield.--------reason being shield+spear users throw+ cast net the most, take them out first to prevent them from using shield bash. these pesky ones are most troublesome. 2ndly are those 2handed, armor break + high dmg so kill them quick. 3rd, the double wield...altho at athens/rome they 4x atk, but in my perspective they're less threatening than the other 2 types.

@hedgehog, from my observation armor break does slightly(or more) dmg than power attack, and higher % acc. i often use it if my opp got example, 1000 armor/500hp, my armor break hits for 9xx but my power atk only goes to 6/7xx.. hehe

give the blacksmith orders would be great, 4 shields now, come on! to update the favourite armors would be nice too, maybe magic spells or give it to the blacksmith... very good game anyway!!!

once i log in to save my game, it just brings up blank screens and doesnt show my gladiator in the fights, it just shows the opponent and i automatically lose the fight

In Nicomedia, does the arm, leg, head, and disembowel. all have to come from the same opponent? They usually drop before I can disembowel them.

Immobilised/limb cut gladiators should suffer severe strength/dexterity/defense/speed reductions for the duration of the battle. Currently the chance to hit a limb doesn't change even when the target is immobile. Similarly, I don't think that a gladiator would be so great at throwing javelins at me while jumping on his remaining leg and bleeding heavily

hey berzerkcrew do you guys mind if you put a substract or removed skill points because if a player (like me) accidentally put a wrong skill point on a undesired skill it may ruin the players gladiator skill especially if the player is far in the game....hit like so that every one can see.....XDDDD THANKS

How in hell can the enemy hit me 4 times of 5 attack if my defence is 24 and his dexterity is 9???

"Optimize" option in equipment would be good,.. automatically set the best equipment based on skills... considering two pages of equipments for three gladiators, it's such a drag to select eqs.. :p

AI still targeting non-threatening targets. Very frustrating to lose to this. Maybe a way to change from automatic to manual in a fight?

I don't want to sound like a dick but the protect thing only seem to work and 20% of the time and hardly every against the x2 ability. I still only have 4 ranks in it so maybe it gets better. Cure can now stop a bleeding arm so thanks.

I don't think "Protect" works as intended... Upon activating the skill, the buff says that it lasts for 2 turns... But after the 1st time the protected char is attacked, the defending char returns to his/her row, and the 'protection' for the second round is ignored...

It is a fantastic game, but after a while it gets to repetative for my liking, I can play the game for about and hour at a time after that i have to take a break. But I still enjoy that hour haha. great game 5/5

What about special classes you can pick such as thief; ability: extra loot and gold and can dodge attacks much easier. and brute; ability: extra damage and can carry two heavy weapons at reduction of speed and defense. Viking; ability: extra health to limbs and takes less damage. and most of all, if your able to level up armor. also i don't see anything specific happening for speed at all.

So now the enemy AI can shield block and be invincible for 5 turns... awesome.... Why cant I find a shield with 90% block rate like they have.
Also, Now we have to scroll down to find battles instead of it automatically going to most obvious one.

The way the system determines superior damage is flawed. It will only pay attention to the upper limit of the weapon's damage, rather than averaging the upper and lower limit.

If your thinking about adding online multi-player you should first think about adding more character customization options so their is more variance between players.

if you turn on auto on a gladiator and you lose and arm it doesnt do shield blast it just does crowd appeal i have have full everything in that category and it still doesnt do anything it just does crowd appeal please update this
