Unlike swords and sandals, this game isn't littered with crappy ads of things that look like s.e.x toys. So, I say that sands of the coliseum beats swords and sandals easily!

When this game came out I thought this will be the swords and sandals killer but to tell you the truth even though I like sands of the coliseum better it does not keep me want to play more. I played for 3-4 days straight and conquered rome, after that I don't find a purpose anymore, maybe you could have a city that generates battles daily and gives a reward if you complete it each day.

some times when an enemy is dead he/she is reborn when my characters attack it for some reason. one time they are lying down, the next they kneel

The game is nice but when the fighters are on Auto it is really bad that they often strike the enemies which are already on the ground. I guess this is a bug or can I make them more intelligent?

I believe the shield bash blocking is broken, each time i use it, it says it will block for three times, but the buff disappears on the characters next turn, meaning i have to use it every single turn if i want to block and attack =/

there's an enemy standing with a shield (only one arm off), and my auto team killed the body, both arms and both legs of another enemy.

2 things that are friking me out are:
when your party is in auto battle sometimes the crazy fools kill the dead guys(nonsense right...)

Can all the idiots complaining about reward not resetting please stfu and clear their cookies?
ALso, blacksmith gear is OVERRATED, shop gear from the 4th city onwards kicks ass, you just keep refreshing the page so the shop refreshes

Small but troublesome bug: Deleting all data via the main screen's button does not reset goals, so you can't earn the rewards for a new playthrough.

Its quite stupid that goals dont reset when u click on erase all...so you only have the rewards the first time u play?...that and cash payment, made my rating go from 5/5 to 2/5. I hope that i'll change that in future with updates.

My main complaint with the game is the blacksmith. I hate how a item is made at random. Every single time I have used the blacksmith, I have been given crappy weapons and armor. This has to be fixed.

Ok, im fighting, 3V3, im using auto fight option with all gladiators, why is is that once 2 enemies are down, the third has one arm with a shield, they attack the downed enemies, whilst being shield bashed to death, ive lost countless battles because my gladiators attack dead bodies instead of one armed' shield ppl.

Also sorry to add but the game also focuses way to much on charisma i would like to see armor stacking health and speed buffs more for example sorry just to moan the game is great i am completely addicted just frustrated at the items haha

funny act: if you disable the weapon's arm and attack the same enemy while he/she block, he/she can counter attack you :|

@BlakeM14: Yes, speed does "do something." it *IS* possible to get multiple attacks to your opponents one, but it's not very realistic to expect it. For example, my current team has speed ranging from 66-78, and even going back to the very first, lowest level fight in the first city, I have to go two full rounds before I get two attacks to his one. HOWEVER, higher speed does mean you get to go FIRST, and if all your team is fast, and can get all three attacks before anyone on the opposing team moves, you can easily use that time to kill or disable one enemy, making it 3 to 2 in your favor before they get to move. That is VERY useful.

A few more glitches if they havent already been said. When you reduce a shield guy that used bash arm to 0 or lower, he still blocks with his shield and counters until his next turn (that is crap) also the Blood option doesnt always give loot period. Not saying extra loot i have at times received no loot even with choosing blood.

One more bug ... the amount of time the enemy is blocking never goes down until it is over. So a 5 turn block says it still has 5 turns left even when there is only 1 left.

Right 1 big flaw the shops are crap like really really really crap it is as of they are forcing you to use the blacksmith to progress which make sense as that way they make money. i check the shop after every fight and my gear always FAR outweighs that of the shop and because of this the enemy can take one of my glads out with 1 combo 3 v 1 that is please up the shop i have nothing to use my horde of gold on

The main issue with this game is that the enemy seems to be able to purchase increasingly superior equipment compared to your available selection.

I wouldn't even mind if you took basic hit % out of the game, caused the level of attack you use cost more mp, and make dex effect crit and/or bleed damage or something. Hit % in games frustrates the hell out of me. Personal opinion.

Presently in the final area, Rome, with level 34-37 gladiators, beating teams over level 50. Don't know why you people are downvoting my advice. If you're having problem with the blockers, you're doing it wrong. Stop trying to out-finesse them. You always have the choice of fighting two teams to advance. Pick the one with no more than 2 shield wielders. Spec strength and speed and kill one before he's able to activate his ability. Then kill the other guy, and it's 3 to 1 in your favor and you can wear the last blocker down until he dies.

when all your opponents are kneeled down, you should auto-win. they have 0 chance of winning yet i have to sit here and wait 30 mins to cut thru their armor. awesome game but you need to speed up the game/UI/battle sequences.

Also would be great if shield block was changed where it had a % chance to absorb a set amount of damage per turn depending on the level of the shield. most annoying ability to fight against 50+ chance block on all enemies.

Couple things I wouldn't mind is the skill reset cost would go back down 1000 gold every 10 min or so like the shop timers so there is a little more freedom to experiment. Would be cool if you could spend gold depending on the level of the city to reset its stock. Maybe would be cool to pay blacksmith to refine your gear at increasing amounts each time for better stats on specific items.

The wording of the goals is not clear enough. For example, I have won battles with all of my gladiators alive, and able to make moves, yet the Tarsus; win a combat without losing a gladiator award remains locked.
