One more bug ... the amount of time the enemy is blocking never goes down until it is over. So a 5 turn block says it still has 5 turns left even when there is only 1 left.

Right 1 big flaw the shops are crap like really really really crap it is as of they are forcing you to use the blacksmith to progress which make sense as that way they make money. i check the shop after every fight and my gear always FAR outweighs that of the shop and because of this the enemy can take one of my glads out with 1 combo 3 v 1 that is please up the shop i have nothing to use my horde of gold on

The main issue with this game is that the enemy seems to be able to purchase increasingly superior equipment compared to your available selection.

I wouldn't even mind if you took basic hit % out of the game, caused the level of attack you use cost more mp, and make dex effect crit and/or bleed damage or something. Hit % in games frustrates the hell out of me. Personal opinion.

Presently in the final area, Rome, with level 34-37 gladiators, beating teams over level 50. Don't know why you people are downvoting my advice. If you're having problem with the blockers, you're doing it wrong. Stop trying to out-finesse them. You always have the choice of fighting two teams to advance. Pick the one with no more than 2 shield wielders. Spec strength and speed and kill one before he's able to activate his ability. Then kill the other guy, and it's 3 to 1 in your favor and you can wear the last blocker down until he dies.

when all your opponents are kneeled down, you should auto-win. they have 0 chance of winning yet i have to sit here and wait 30 mins to cut thru their armor. awesome game but you need to speed up the game/UI/battle sequences.

Also would be great if shield block was changed where it had a % chance to absorb a set amount of damage per turn depending on the level of the shield. most annoying ability to fight against 50+ chance block on all enemies.

Couple things I wouldn't mind is the skill reset cost would go back down 1000 gold every 10 min or so like the shop timers so there is a little more freedom to experiment. Would be cool if you could spend gold depending on the level of the city to reset its stock. Maybe would be cool to pay blacksmith to refine your gear at increasing amounts each time for better stats on specific items.

The wording of the goals is not clear enough. For example, I have won battles with all of my gladiators alive, and able to make moves, yet the Tarsus; win a combat without losing a gladiator award remains locked.

i love how the AI makes the other enemy potatos.... chops off ALL the limbs while they're dead, and leaves 1 person to bleed to death...

Does speed work as it should? "Frequency of my turns" implies that I could do multiple turns while the opponents do only one. Even in the first battle against the guy with 5 speed do I not get multiple turns. So, speed seems kind of useless.

- when auto my gladiators attack eliminated gladiator instead of those who fight
- enemy block is bugged and last forever

Here's a tip! Need some better weapons? different armor? Refresh the page then go back to the shops they will be restocked with new stuff, rate this up to keep it alive!!!

Ok, so few things that really tick me off in this game ... Ive put enough points into DEX to hit ... yet ... I miss on a regular basis where as computers guys miss 1:100 ... another thing, BLOCK is starting to annoy the hell outa me, Cool I can block for a turn and thats it, where as opponent has Block for 5 turns and has no problems attackin me, care to enlighten me why this is so? I just had a fight where I attacked 10 times and had miss/block/dodge 9 of 10 times ... what the hell gives? Havent lost a fight yet, but what I dont get is why in nearly every game the devs feel a need to give the computer team advantage ... Just my pissed off 2 cents.

How about this 1 leg chopped = -25-50% accuracy reduction + bleeding. Not fair for melee wielders. Way too many weak points.

there seems to be a problem:
when you complete the goals but start a new game, it says that you've already completed but you don't get any of the rewards

When you get your leg taken out, it doesn't leave much to do. My opinion is that you should be able to attack when your leg is gone, beacsue it doesn't seem fair once someone hits your unarmoured leg for 110 damage and you can't do anything except block and crowd appeal

Don't forget that the more exp you have the better your crafted items will be, so it's best to hold onto all metals until later.

Seems like now people are realizing how overpowered is blocking. But wait till you fight an enemy that have counter attack (if he block you attacks, he will hit you back and deal 100-150 damage), and regeneration (with like 75% of blocking chance he will heal 200-350 per turn).

the block ability on opponents is so broken. The turn meter on it never goes down and they block 90% of hits. Really putting a dent in an overall great game.

I have to say - after playing with several team types - the enemy blocks WAY more than your people ever can and investing in it seems useless. I *love* your game though - spent kreds on it because it's so badass.

wtf, i just hit the 2nd town, checked the slave market and find that the cheapest slave cost 6k... and the most expensive 28k... are you out of your mind? I havent even outfitted my 3 cheap slaves from town 1 with full gear... how the hell am i gonna save 30k for a new gladiator... which doesnt seem to have any bonus to buying him, considering the ones i have now are lvl 5 and hes lvl 10, by the time i would have saved that much, mine would far surpass those.

@yakov, you are supposed to use tecniques to finish them by attacking their torso. same goes for any brutal finishers on any part of the body.

Tips:
Reload game to refresh shop
Enter the lucrative slave trade, buy a lvl 1 for 570 in town 1, lvl him/her to lvl 10-12, se;; for 10-13k each.
To reset progress / goals, you need to clear cookies (specifically the SoC cookie)

Don't know if its a bug or not, but when you have one gladiator "protect" another gladiator regardless of where the attacking gladiator was aiming the defending gladiator always takes damage to the chest. Just saying...
