My tactic of repeated making strong attacks to the enemy's face seems to be working... I call it the "strongly hit you in the face" technique.

Even if you kill for extra loot, most of the items you get are pure crap. I would love to have received drops appropriate to my highest character level.

The "auto" option needs to be fixed. My allies are using "Crowd appeal" when their MP is full and they are attacking enemies that are already knocked out.

Karma Cat i'm not having that trouble. when i put a point in combo x2 it makes it about 4 points stronger per hit. and the last point i put in it was about 10 points stronger i hit 100's with my combo now

The game becomes impossible to restart since it does not clear out the Goals. While you can make do without the metal, the lost money is virtually impossible to overcome while slaves cost 800ish and you get 20 gold per victory... Now currently unplayable.

I like the little bits of (mostly) accurate history spread into the game, but it would be nicer to see greater detail to accuracy paid in a Roman Gladiatorial game.

Why not MERGE the blacksmith and the shop, the template this game follows (gladiators/armor/weps etc) never have them seperate. plus it's annoying to misclick and getting the wrong thing

If the shield arm is disabled, then they shouldn't be able to block, if I'm wielding a two handed sword and I lose an arm, I should be able to punch. Awesome game despite other small things.

Strength is your primary stat. Keep DEX and SPD near 20, everything else into STR. A team of 3 Dimachaerus with that build will win you everything up to Alexandria. As soon as your dudes hit level 41, reset them and put the skillpoints in the Murmillo tree instead. Counter attack (and a good shield + spear) allowed me to beat Rome's #1 team with the guys I had since Londinium at level 35.

I think live multiplayer would be brilliant in this type of game.. Just hope you get it right PVP can be very hit and miss.

I clicked "blood" after I've won, my one-legged warrior suddenly sprang up and ran towards enemies with 1 leg, and executed them all.

For the goals with mulitiple occurences (like cut off 25 arms), there should be a counter similar to Kong's "best so far:" on badges.
Also, defense is totally useless. Im too busy attacking to waste a turn defending. Maybe it could work as a slight multiplier towards armor?
And a purely cosmetic problem: the armor gauge on arms is not set right. For example, when I was in lower fights, a guy had 100 arm armor and I hit 50. The gauge only showed the blue removed up to about his wrist.
Still rating 5/5 because, well, its highly addictive lol. Stayed up til 2:45 playing the first night, even though I was totally exhausted. Sooo great game

I get the concept of blocking increasing block chance,but when they block 20 hits in a row its just a waste of time...It'd be nice to see the chance of blocks lowered, or change it to block only part of the damage.

the colluseum is bugged one of my guy disembowled an enemy then one of my guys attacked him even when he was dead.

Ok first thing: I listen to comedy in the background (rather low volume comedy) turns on this game and my speakers go ARRRRRRRH in my face... not a good experience -.-

Difficulty at later towns is too high... in 4th town my team kept losing lots of battles because most hits missed. To win i had to play myself which was quite boring.

And btw this game is NOT impossible to win. Just play with 2 counter defence and 1 heavy dmg one with a lot of speed!

The fact that the "block" appears only after the camera moved forth and back in case of counter attack is a bit annoying. No big deal though

when your slaves get killed should they not disappear (ie die)? There could be a way to bribe them to have mercy, but should not get to restart like it never happened. perhaps armour is lost. Also damaged armour could be repaired for a price, but not become great after each battle even when destroyed

of course my opponent could throw a spear threw a bottlecap 200 ft. away and i couldnt hit a brick wall with a hammer

Armour needs to let some damage threw. Say Armor of 300, hit for 100 might do 5 damage to body and 95 damage to the armor. Some types of armor let in less damage, some weapons bypass armor better. As is the healing spells are pointless, you don't get injured until you're armor is completely gone, at which point healing is pointless because you can't keep up with damage.
