sometimes the computer AI for your team is extremely dumb. like 10+ turns of crowd appeal (when my main guy is down) when they have maxed MP

It gets retarded and no fun at all when you end up fighting enemies that always block and counter attack. Seriously stupid. The only way to beat them is to block and counter attack. What a shit concept.

I'm enjoying the game, but... I'm in Tarsus, and I've one about three matches without a gladiator even losing a limb, much less dying, and I haven't gotten the "Win a combat without losing a gladiator" achievement. Am I misunderstanding what I need to do?

You need to fix the bug when having all of your party members on auto. They continue attacking the corpses for a few turns. lol

One other thing, the 3x shield line is a very tough team.
1. Everyone use shield bash the first turn(if you go first)
2. Figure out who they are targeting and have that person use shield bash
3. The other two use strong attacks until the first is disabled.
I usually beat teams 7-9 levels higher than me just as they are disabling my first shield bearer.

It's been said before but misses are all too common. Even Diablo 3(despite its flaws) realized that frustrating mechanics such as missing(Diablo 2) are not a good way to randomize the difficulty of games.
Other than that, the only way to effectively use shields is to have everyone go down the shield line or purposely make your shield bearer have less defense than the others, which itself is strange. 4/5

You cant leave battle. When you get injured leg, you're stuck waiting for the enemy to finish you off, if they choose to, especially early game

i won, but i still feel like it was a bad ending. no cinematic, no reward, and my characters havent even gotten the alst skill in their trees yet. this could have been better if it had missions, and a storyline. like mabe in addition to the coliseum, you can go on war quests. the way it is now, it is boring, and it doesnt feel finished when you finish.

I dont like the price of items. The loot drops. Or the fact that after you disable them to the point of only pleasing the crowd that the battle is not over. Other then at A+

I found the loot okay - I focused on saving up when I could then buying a weapon that would last, and help me through many levels without grinding. That way I could wait a long time before upgrading armor, as that requires you to make 6 targets close to equally armored. You can use autofight to grind earlier levels - the 3rd city was very good grinding, as I won battles with autofight 99% of the time and loot was OK.

Female gladiators should get a "distraction" bonus. Male gladiators have less chance of hitting them because they are too busy looking at their cleavage....

Armor level on items is totaly insignificant. I cant progtress with agressive style. There are no bosses and worthles loot ... Game is raw

The skill tree is pretty annoying... The first of each skill line only applies to a certain weapon arrangement, which means if you're not using that arrangement, you have to waste skill point to get the better skills in that line.. The throw technique for example could at least apply to more than just spears. other than that, everything is perfect. Another Berzerk masterpiece! 5/5

I agree that prices are a bit steep, particularly in the slave market. There is no way I can save up that much money and maintain reasonable equipment. In fact, it's all I can do just to get one new piece of equipment per battle, since I hardly ever get any loot, and the loot I do get sucks.

I agree with hotshot2k4 on everything except the speed factor. My one guy has a spped of 50, while the others in the low 20s and he attacks more than them and also attacks before the enemy in later rounds.

What is the point of block lasting multiple turns when it inevitably ends the next time you make a move anyway? (or gets reset because you did a move that provides block)

Badges, this is a all around good game. It shows that although good it does need work in some spots. I would like however to see some badges put in along with the game. But so for its good. You guys did well.

Feels like maybe 1/3rd of the things in this game don't work right. The 'advantage of one item over another' only considers max damage instead of average. New gladiators still have only 10 speed (etc) instead of whatever is written. Spears used by the enemy throwers critical like crazy without any special buffs, but I don't remember the last time I saw my 2hander land a crit (if ever) despite now having 5 points in the +critical chance skill. Speed only affects initial turn order, and my 55 speed guy attacks as often as my 5 speeder.

Seems cool so far, but laggy. Way too much random lag. Seems a bit repetitive though. Nice graphics, skill tree, tutorial and overall effort though.

Often times I find myself refreshing the page to get new armor and people from the store. Maybe make it a little faster.

Chopping through someone's armor feels like it takes forever. I'd either like to have access to the amor break skill sooner, or have low-level armors be much less effective. (Or maybe a battle speed setting would be enough.)

As soon as the enemies can't attack you anymore they should surrender and the battle should be over, same if you lose the ability to attack and/or move

Just completed all Arenas, now time to beat the pesky shield blocking teams I skipped over in favour of DPS teams to advance now xD

Although it's not entirely relevant, the idea of thumbs up or thumbs down is actually a myth, when a gladiator was to be killed the sign was thumbs up, as in a sword drawn and when he was to be spared, thumbs down, as in a sheathed sword.

I'm having trouble with the "win a combat without losing a gladiator" goal in Tarsus. I am winning all the time without losing anyone but it wont give me the goal, anyone else having this issue? Great Game BTW!! 5/5 for me

I frequently wind up attacking the head of the fighter below the fighter whose leg I'm trying to attack. It would be great if the targeting images were further apart.

Tarsus seems to be broken You can't get the goal of not losing a gladiator. I have knocked all them out with one guy injured. (No limbs removed on anyone. ) I have survived all of my guys with most of my armor even. I can't get this goal ever its frustrating.

fighting multiple opponents who every turn attack then hide behind their shield, block your attacks and counter attack gets old really fast
