Protip: You can hold the space bar down to rapidly draw cards when you're grinding to get clubs instead of furiously clicking. I'd say something about how lame it is that you need to grind clubs, but I think everyone has done a good job on that already.

Did it! It's a fair game, maybe too much luck-oriented! For the last stages, if you manage to keep most of the clubs past the third hole, you should be done! ;) use them carefully though!

I think the reason I don't want to keep playing is the sheer luck factor. On the first 3 holes, I have yet to get a perfect simply because there are times where I would go through the whole deck just for one card to be able to play.

27 in a row on the first stage of Chaos Club, my longest streak ever. Now those are the things that makes me like the game

Nothing makes me feel like buying a game then losing the same hands over and over and over and over and over again for a stupid 'chieve.

Oh the hate for this game I feel when I used up almost all my clubs on the last stage of Jungle Brook so I ended up on -11 total, and discovered in the end I needed -12 total. This game just is too unbalanced on those stages. Make sure they actually work, and not require total amount of luck to beat

All Star Super Pro hint - for Jungle Brook, before playing that level, bounce between all the other levels and look for Irons, stock up on them first of course, then first level of jungle brook, scan your deck for a lottery card and try to catch the perfect game card, so you start with a -5 on the first hole from there you have the best starting odds to win the level - but it's still killer - 4/5 good luck!

After learning all the tricks to this game, I realize it's mostly luck determining if you win or not. Why does this game set me up to lose????

Feature request: Extended bonus clubs. Woods could sub for faces and a driver for an Ace. It stinks to have a full and useless golf bag because only faces are in playable spots. Also, if buried cards were a bit more obvious. Some holes have only a smidge of the corner covered, making them unplayable, but you cannot tell until you get there that there's other cards you also need to play away.

totally ridiculous that I can do great on two holes and then flip 10 cards in a row before getting a usable one. It messes up the entire scorecard. Glad this is a free game or I would want my money back. 2/5

Protip: Royal Hackenduff is the best place for finding clubs. You can see almost all cards instantly. If you see club, pick it, restart. Got 8 clubs in 3 minutes.

when I completed Jungle Brooke with 3 stars (-13 under par) I almost shed a tear of joy...man, there's something totally wrong about that series of levels, it requires so much luck that it's insane!

The hard badge isn't the hardest hard badge if you use strategy. Keep the clubs for when you can use them the most. I rated this 4/5. Would have rated higher, but info on the draw pile was left out of the directions. (The draw pile is the upside down pile beside the discard pile, took me awhile to find it. I thought I was just stupid till I found out other people didn't see it either.) Since you must use the draw pile, that should be in the instructions. I think all the other issues happen because this is just the striped down demo version. I'd buy it, but then I'd just have one more thing to waste all my time at work.

99% luck, people who have the badges quit play'n like ya'll are geniuses. Yes there is a basic stradegy but come on, quit play'n that you got the 30 cause ur smarter hahaha

Right, that's it. I formally give up on Jungle Brook. The 'hard' badge can go hang. I agree with all other comments that say such non-skill-based games should not be given badges. Down to 2 stars now (only saving grace is that earlier levels were kinda fun).

Helpful advice for Jungle Brook: The first level is one of the most hardest. If you DO NOT get at least -3 on the first level, restart. Don't try to use all your clubs on any single level, you'll need them later on. And if you have the chance to go into the final level with -17, DO IT! I messed it up and got -10 because I didn't think I needed to. I was wrong. Levels 2-4 aren't that bad but you can still be pretty unlucky in them.

Jungle Brook can suck it sooooo hard.
If you have good memorization of the 52 cards, you can treat this more like a puzzle game, but yea this sucks.

It seems that everytime you get a good game, the next one is always awful - even if you win you lose. More about luck than anything else. But still addictive.

FINALLY manually beat jungle brook after like 10 hours of trying. (I didn't brute force it). Requires way too much luck and doesn't deserver badges imo.. 2/5

I've done every level apart from level 8
You get a perfect score and then end up clicking onto the next card and nothing comes up

I really like it some of the special cards should have more limitations built in though for example three "grass" 2's is a little much to expect to be cleared other than that its good.

Finally did the last course - 13 under par. Got lucky, though judicious use of the clubs I had built up helped a lot. GOODBYE GOPHER!

Every level can be three-starred using skill except for the last one, which seems entirely based on luck. You can do everything right, but if the deck decides to give you five cards in a row that are unusable, your entire match is screwed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too much of a luck game for me. It's fun but the luck value of it is really annoying. You could do really awesome in 2/3 rounds and then be really unlucky with the last one and so don't pass. Which gets annoying after a bit.

offs, I'm sick of games that are addictive but almost entirely random in terms of completing later levels. Would have been 5 stars, reduced to 3 for the sheer damned annoyance of it.

Sorry for the triple post, but it seems my first comment is a bit misinformative. I recently completed Chaos Club with six under par and I got three stars, so I apologize to anyone who read it and started infuriatingly trying to earn ten under par on that course. But at least I know now that there's some room for error. Again sorry, just thought I'd save some people the trouble and update.

I think a card power-up that lets you carry over your deck (if you get a perfect) to the next level/course would be awesome.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be a 45 point badge between hard and impossible for any challenge which requires more luck than skill to compensate for the frustration of restarting a level over and over and over when you don't get a ten card run with the first card
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have three stars in all but one of the courses, but the check list for the badge only tells me I have 3 stars in 3 courses.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To UofL3000, a three-level course requires at least 4 below par for three stars, and at least ten below for six-level courses. And here's a little glimpse at the unfairness of Chaos Club for those who haven't yet reached its mind-numbingly skill-less gameplay: I'm on the last level, feeling pretty good with myself for having achieved 12 under par; then comes the attack at my pride thanks to Ol' Lucky here, who decides to end the whole 15 minutes I'd spent getting there with three cards left. You could say I lost some decency towards the game afterwards.

It took a week but I finally got a the hard badge. In case anyone is having issues with Jungle Book and Chaos make sure you have a full set of clubs when playing those courses. It really does help and make the game easier.

A little hint for those who go for three stars.
Start Greenhorn Hills (Level 7) and just click through your deck to get golf clubs. Greenhorn Hills is probably the best, because you see the cards on the top. This method is good but at least you can try three stars if you have many clubs.

These are the worst shuffled cards I've ever seen! Why when I put Ace next 3 cards from deck are Aces??? And next card also repeats! If I play with such deck in real I would shuffle cards twice to be sure, that there will be no same cards that often! Two cards - ok. Three - not acceptable. So I pass all repeating cards and when I really need them - no numbers! That's not fair! And don't tell me that's some kind of probability rule - there is no such rule saying that I have all the same cards playing the same level for 3 hours.......
