Third try for the hard badge, today. Only real advice I can give is don't let him go skull without at least Lv 4 or 5, and don't forget you can stand behind him when he lasers the bottom half of the stage.

I hate this hard badge...My best is 4040, and I have no idea what it boils down to in terms of real time. I know I beat it in about 3:30 and that's not good enough :(

When going for the hard badge, try to get max level as fast as you can, because it's the only one that will damage the skull more.

were raging at first because the laser is so damn strong but then i managed to complete the speed challenge only dying once, at the skeleton part, beast mode. 5/5.

Tips on hard: when he does laser, run behind him and hit him, his laser wont hit behind him. when he drops bread use that time to hit gravestones and gain exp. he seems to not use the whirlwind attack if you stay just within hit range and mercilessly whack him. the skull has some easy nearby safe zones, the least obvious of which it directly under and slightly to the left or right of him. stay there then jump as soon as its safe to get hits on him. being able to hit him in all 3 of his positions instead of 2 really cuts down your time. got hard after 2 tries (got 4029 the first time)

Hold a down to use magic... I found that for fighting Tom it's better to stick to the left side of the screen. When he uses the left side laser, you can hit him while he is attacking on top and then jump on the leftmost platform and walk as far over as you can to dodge the second laser and hit him some more. And if you are at least Green you can get a decent combo by hitting him off the screen right after the laser. By repeating that for every time he moves to the left side you gain a ton of exp and he loses a lot of health. Also, he only uses the spinning beard attack when you walk in the middle of him, so stay to the outer edges.

You have a magic attack that does good damage. To Active just Hold down "A"
Get behind him when he lasers
try to group your tombstones and juggle them as you are hitting him
For the skull just stay near one set of platforms and as he flies to you unleash.

the hard badge isn't so bad, if you can level up to the long sword just as he turns into the skull you can beat him much, much faster

Worst game I've ever played without actually claiming it to be unplayable. Make it half as glitchy in maneuverability and you would have a decent way to kill a few minutes, but this game is just a pathetic piece of crap using Castle Crashers and Tom Fulp to gain high votes and many plays. Without the names it would be down in the 3.1 section

boss had 1 health left and so did i. i went to hit him but is mistimed it and i got flamed.luckily i hit him too so he died while i was still burning in the air. closest call ever!

This game is retarted, the base point is so boring that it ruins the actual mediocre levelling system. Thanks for giving this game badges guys, yeah, don't let a game that deserves badges get them.

Yey for the effort...
Try speed clicking jump and A, try to set a distance when he uses his beard attack or jump at the right moment... hit him from mid level, you wont be hit( works more often than not) try hitting as much as you can then off the screen, as skull hit him everytime he passes through, theres a point where you can hit him when hes under you... then also with magic attack, defeated him in 4 min with sword and a little over a life left.. trying to tank some of the damage to deal more damage. The best way to get the speed badge is to get all 4 tombtones on top of another and constantly attack them. You will get to the pink castle crasher in about a minute if you can keep the tombstones together and attack the beard at the same time as all the tombstones.

whacking the tombstones as the first blue guy helps also make sure u have at least 2 lives left for last fight when he is a skull for skull fight - stay on left or right wayt for the skull to come to ur side and hit it once or twice and then get outta there before he uses fire its an easy strategy considering he has low health when skull comes
