Reflectors don't seem to be worth buying compared to more Cells. I've tested it a few times, only time Reflectors are worth buying is when you couldn't fit a Cell in the same space without risking other equipment.

1 I (and probably a lot of others too) would prefer extreme capacitors to cost more and not produce heat, with endgame builds they still burn out in seconds even with 100+ capacitors on screen, or failing that it'd be nice if there was an upgrade to auto replace extreme components...actually even if the capacitors get fixed to not create heat an auto replace for the protium cells would be nice, 2 I'd like to see a prestige to permanently up all fuel cell durations, 3 maybe an extreme fan next, it wouldn't be so bad if it burned a moderate amount of power in exchange for huge heat drop

muffin, i tried, i honestly did and it was impossible to change that value once you get the bug (which is done by resetting twice in a row for me). so just do the actual reset, you actually had half the prestage than me =p

anyone else feel that they can just ignore the automated power-selling upgrade and then use the extreme capacitors as working coolant cells?

What the hell just happened? Okay, I had an extreme capacitor attached to heat inlets with 6 times more inlets attached to heat sinks to disperse the heat. The capacitor exploded eventually, then all the heat sinks spontaneously exploded and the reactor exploded....it's like the capacitor suddenly generated a shit ton of heat when it exploded.

@XxXPwNtAsTiCXxX: 3x3 protium cells generate more heat than 3x3 quad nefastium cells because quad cells only get 1/4 extra pulse per tick from adjacent cells. So each cell in an isolated quad generates heat for 3 pulses per tick (9 times base heat generation), and in a quad surrounded by four more quads each cell generates heat for 3 + 16/4 = 7 pulses per tick (49 times base heat generation) which is less than 6 times what the isolated quad produces; however, a single cell surrounded by four more single cells generates heat for 5 pulses per tick, which is 25 times the heat generated by an isolated single cell. It turns out single cells are the most dangerous type by far in blocks.

Okay, extreme capacitors do *not* generate heat when you don't purchase the ability to automaticly sell energy produced, but it's too tedious to keep hitting sell, so it ballances nicely.

If an extreme capacitor generates 50% heat of power it sells....then would it generate no heat if we don't buy the autosell upgrades?

Is it just me or does the heat of protium cells go absolutly nutz when place in 3x3 blocks their heat is less than a quad nefastium but when you block them up in a build that could handle a 3x3 quad nef it pops it like a grape

i would love it if you added a way to transfer heat to power like a steam engine so we can not only think of ways to remove power but to transform it

great game awesome amazing and i have barely scratched the surface of it but so far i think its fairly straightforward i was thinking it would make it awesome if you had to move the power out of the cells so there would be heat vents and power vents heat exchangers power exchangers etc i rate it 4/5 since it can be better but if you add that i will rate 5/5 and others will probably too

suggestion for extreme capacitors: make them self balancing: reduce their effectivity by 1% for every % of stored heat

vents have a small problem, they can't directly cool extreme capacitors, to cool capacitors we must use exchangers, but vents don't cool exchangers directly, insted of that heat is transferred to them, but it can't be more than capacity of vents, so vents don't use it's full potential but only cooling as much heat as their capacity is

hey, i think it would be great to list the amount i can cool somewhere near (or in) the amout that is automatically cooled
i think i just found out today that the outlets draw 4 times the heat i thought they would, so yeah (and please don't list the amount thats drawn out of the reactor, but the heat that is actually cooled, so what comes through the outlet and how much of it handle the vents)

an update could be to tell players how to shift+leftclick to mass replace and shift+rightclick to mass sell components in the help menu, and other shortcut, since people keep askin all the time.

Could I request few feature?
(1.) Additional stat on Heat Vent showing heat received from nearby system, so I know if the heat vent is almost obsolete with current system.
(2.) Ability to progress the time 1 tick to test the system, it's scary if the system failure and suddenly meltdown is happening.
(3.) Ability to replace power cell even it's on different tier.

80QA heat and 132QA power (sold) per tick. 800k Prestige out of the max 1 million you can get. I think that's end game or is their something I'm missing?

I love the Idea of a IC2-Reactorplanner based Game. I kind of hoped to get some Crafting aspects, like Breeders. And the Extreme Capacitor (its heat is really annoying) doesnt seem to affect the Active-Venting/Exchangers - Upgrades.
