Suggestion: Change the Extreme Capacitors to only produce heat based on the energy they personally collect. They should not (but do) blow up even if you have enough Ultimate Capacitors to do the job. I also suspect that they do not split the energy produced burden among themselves. So I suggest they produce 50% * (Energy Captured - Energy Captured by other Capacitor types) / # of Extreme Capacitors.

Extreme Capacitor works only on low-power emitting level. Where it is useless. But when you really need Extra Capacity (emitting 40Qa per tick) - nothing can stop the overheating. So what for is that item?

gEasS_53 It is based on power sold/heat dissipated. Honestly though your limiting factor is heat dissipated since it takes the lower of the two.

Do we get exotic particles for the raw power output, or only for the power we actually get(as in, do we get particles for the power we didn't get due to maxed out power capacity)?

suggestion, drag and drop units. like clicking at one point and then dragging around the screen until its filled to your liking with the specific piece. Im just tired of clicking so much after trying a new layout that the extreme capacitor doesnt like.

What an awesome game!
I hope it is alright that I throw a few design suggestions out here;
Rather than the 0-to-max bar for heat in your reactor, wouldn't it help a lot more to have a bar that goes from negative max heat dispersion to zero (at the center) to max heat dispersion? (So that you can see how much below "balanced" you are. This would help prevent these shock surprizes that burn down your reactor in a fraction of a second)
Do the same with the power sell bar - so you can see how much you are selling in relation to your max capacity.
Could you make so that you can replace/upgrade fuel cell, without having to delete the old ones?
And finally, a most annoying detail; could you please secure that all values are always written with 3 decimals? It drives me nuts to see numbers jumping back and forth between 3.124B to 3.1B to 2.908B etc. Please make them always show #.000B. (the 3.1B above would show as 3.100B)

I've determined that extreme capacitors are useless. With heat vent and capacitors both upgraded to similarly high levels, a single extreme capacitor would need ~700 heat vents in order to keep stable, which would take more than 4x the amount of space available. Achieving the same amount of capacity with ultimate capacitors would take 140 spaces. Therefore without even considering the heat exchangers etc that would also be needed to maintain an extreme capacitor and the fact that heat vents would lose effectiveness without mass capacitors, they have at best 20% the efficiency of their ultimate counterparts.

I doubt i'm the only one that feels the extreme capacitor is way underpowered late game. The amount of power capacity it gives is great, but it just goes poof instantly if you're making anywhere near it's cap.

So im not sure if anyone else if having these problems, but my game wont pause even when it says it is, and my plutonium cells have -6000 chargers and increasing left on them...

I'd be interested in a 'drag/paint' feature with placement of objects. Being able to click, hold, and drag the mouse to place multiple objects rather than having to click each individual square would be pretty neato.

This is the best idle type game that I have played. I enjoy the fact that there is a lot of player interaction, unlike most idle games. The one suggestion that I have is: make it auto-duplicate a selected item. (instead of having to left click for each item placement, be able to hold the left button and drag the mouse to place a row of an item). Thanks for such a entertaining game.

In my current setup, it seems tier-6 cells are generating waaaay more particles than tier-7 cells. Just curious as to why.

Vents are not venting heat, some modules are letting the heat exceed their max without effect, in general a lot of new bugs with the update last night.

The extreme capacitor is still unbelievably impractical. Maybe you could get rid of the heat but make it cost a lot more?

the ability to autoplace protium would be nice considerng its short life (3.6k is short by that point the the game when you buy the chronograph upgrades)

Bug: If you have two heat outlets and only one of the has components around it to transfer heat to: Isotopes decay at an extreme speed pumping out massive amounts of heat and cash. This state prevents explosions and overheated components start going back up in value, I sold a lvl 1 battery for several Qa.

Suggestion : Clear the Exotic Particles (for those of us who found bugs that cost points we'll never get back), or give us a way to clear Exotic Upgrades without resetting the entire game. I might even go as far as clearing the Exotic Upgrades every time someone prestiges, so they can re-spec their entire build. At least while the game is still in development

@Valis, Capacitors should NEVER, EVER under ANY circumstances placed next to a fuel cell, or an exchanger, or anything that pumps heat to and fro components. Their maximum supported heat is 10 units, I dont know about you, but my reactors max is 10 billion. That is literally a billion times more heat than my capacitors can store.

Mega Capacitors, can you not get the heat out of them? or are they disposable? cause they aren't doing anything but exploding, just half as quickly now, no matter what i do

in terms of the extreme capacitor. it's not worth it because i got protium cells pumping out 10 times more energy than heat.

My single uranium cell produces ~88 power.
My extreme capasitor is surrounded by 4 top lvl pipes, connected to 4 5-lvl vents that cumulatively reduce heat by ~32T. My extreme capasitor got 2M heat on it...

Love the new caps even at 100% tbh, they were worth buying even if they exploded soon after.
One thing I would like seeing is being able to restat your exotic particles especially as it gets harder to get and certain upgrade can actually shut out certain builds.

4 Extreme Capacitors give the same venting boost as 5 Ultimate Capacitors. However every 4 Extreme Capacitors require 1 Inlet and some amount of indirect cooling. Therefore Extreme Capacitors reduce your venting capabilities relative to Ultimate Capacitors.
