ok, now I connected the basic heat outlet to 2 basic heat transfers, each connected to 3 heat vents. that means that 16 heat passes 8 heat into each heat transfer, which then passes about 2.6 heat each into each vent. the 2.6 heat should get destroyed by the 4 heat destroyed per tick in the vents, however when I put down 2 double uranium cells (which gives 16 heat) the reactor still heats up slowly and so does the vents and transferers. Again, I have no clue what is causing this, as the help menu is blank

I used 4 basic heat vents which remove 4 heat each, and 16 heat altogether, and then used a basic heat outlet which takes out 16 heat per tick in the middle of them, then the vents all exploded. I don't know what happened and the help menu doesn't work, so I can't continue in the game.

@thedudeofdc257 It's a nuclear reactor you beefwitted barnacle, what did you expect? Just be patient and work your way up to a better cooling system before placing down high heat generating structures

Response to thedudeofdc257 comment nov. 25, 2020: That is the nature of a nuclear reactor, deal with it, also you can export saves of this game and just load the game before you leave or make changes, its 2-3 clicks away.

I hate the melt down feature since 1 second everything is fine I look away to piss for 1 second and my reactor blows up. I'd prefer if it just stopped producing power until your heat lowers enough, instead of destroying everything. I quit the game since mine blew up when I had just spent the last of my cash getting something. 2/5 has potential but not fun to idle.

Guys don't forget to use Shift button to replace all dead cells and to upgrade all your components at once, it saves a lot of time

Found the webGL Issue, there is a memory leak when calculating heat in various components. Depending on your browser and computer there is a hard limit that it can have, on most systems its 256-1024 MB of ram.

You can do a cash upgrade (in game) to resolve the disappearing exotic components.
Chrome web browser works best for me with this game.

Can we do something about the WEBGL issue I keep getting, I've made changes that were suppose to fix any issues my end but I suspect it maybe a glitch within the game itself

i like the version 1, because it does not have waste heat, it preety annoy, and it has a percentage that will change its effect, produce waste heat, and heat ignore the heat vent and goes into reactor.

I'm working on a newer, less broken, better version that everyone here knows and loves. There will be some minor texture changes and some of the math behind the game will be a little less complex, but there will be new Heat Pipes, and the Fourth Tab will host Test Reactors! You start with your Main Reactor and a single Test Reactor, but you can purchase up to 3-5 (I haven't decided yet) Test Reactors to test multiple designs at once!
I will post updates with progress as I develop RI2 more.

Yes, but they also produce more heat. You might want to experiment by setting some plating and a small area to make sure the vents can take it before spending a ton of money on a massive explosion.

I remember back when this game had a help section... wonder what happened to it.
To those who don't remember those days, you can use shift as a shortcut to "Replace all" and it will replace as many items with however many of the new items you can afford. Works great for replacing empty cells or upgrading vents and banks.

how to destroy the reactor fast?, first, delete all of your heat plating, and put an dual thorium cell into your reactor with no heat vent, and wait a sec, your reactor blasted and nothing alive

So my new theory is to autoclick heat away and see if that actually has a relevant effect on exotic points - sometimes the heat meter fills up completely and it doesn't affect the reactor

the fuel rod can up the power production by touching another fuel rod for 2x more heat produce, 1x power product per touch, two fuel cell can touch two time another, and the fuel rod heself, when 4 fuel cell, it will touch 2 time for every fuel cell, so u can estimate it.
