I have noticed a slight bug, where where after getting the update I have the ability to prestige for ~ -9000 exotic particles. I don't think this is intentional, given that in the previous builds I could prestige for at minimum 0 particles.

I think adjaced fuel cells increase each others temperature for a short while?
Otherwise it would make no sense that non touching heat vents go boom.

I've always wished to have various "macros" for faster building! Here are some spontaneous ideas I came up with:
- ctrl + click: fills every empty space with the selected item.
- draw + click: click and draw your cursor over an area, creating a box (or highlighting tiles?) where you can select an item to fill it in with.
- hold + click: a feature I would die for; makes you able to click and draw to fill every tile you come across.
These features would change the game a lot in my opinion, and I think that others would like it aswell. If the reactor blows up next time, you know what to do.

I think there is a problem with the dual rainbow cells, i had about 5 all surrounded by 4 vents that get rid of about 1.8Qa heat per tick and the cell produces 1.6Qa heat per pulse, so it should be able to handle it but it just explodes every time, its worked fine with the single cell just not the dual.

It seems like the extreme coolant cell is broken, having a single protium cell surrounded by a 3x3 of ultimate bents, then surrounding that in a 5x5 of extreme coolant still immediately blows up for me, when it should be producing 1/100th of a coolant cells maximum heat per tick.

xoox99, when I'm standing on top10 of all time, I don't need to post my EP's. The only reason I'm not increasing my Ep's is because at such high EP count the game bugs out and it's impossible to gain any new EP's.
Everyone is posting shitbuilds anyways.
No matter what upgrades you pick or whatever shitbuild you go for.
Exotic particles income is always decided by how much heat you dissipate.
The one and only most efficient build is between 100 and 116 vents with outlets at a 4 to 1 ratio. All the rest must be capacitators as they improve the vents. place anything else and your heat dissipation goes down and your build fails.

AngelSpirit, your build sucks and is inefficient, stop failing.
You're always bottlenecked by dissipating heat. Only vents dissipate heat. If your build doesn't contain at least 100 vents, you're failing.

Also, to anyone trying the Discurrium cell, note that since it produces 4 pulses per tick its heat and power production are actually 4 times the listed value. I blew up my reactor twice before realizing that.

Actually, for ideal EP generation you want to generate heat and power in as close as a 1:1 ratio as possible. Your build is inefficient in that regard, as its power:heat ratio is around 13:1. Also, experimental components are very nice additions, love tinkering around with them.

1536Qa power and 840Qa heat for a power-to-heat ratio of 1.9:1, using Extreme Capacitors and the new Stavrium Cell. You can probably do a lot better, I haven't optimized my prestige upgrades yet.

The key to success is to balance and bugfix all existing mechanics. You didn't. Instead you just introduced even more gamebreaking stuff which can be abused to no end, leaving 80% of all objects and upgrades completely useless.
Back to basics.
Just restart.
Remove all the useless junk objects, rebalance everything.
The only objects that are currently "OK" are:
- capacitators
- vents
- outlets
Everything else is useless and should go back to the drawing board.

Being able to turn off the repeat for certain colours would be useful. For example if you're running a three tier system (lots of green, some yellow and a few blue) and want to step up a level you can then turn off greens rebuy and swap them for yellow, before turning off the yellow and replacing for blue etc... just a thought

Final Verdict: Too many bugged / imbalanced designchoices which give you an instant "I WIN" button maxing out top ranked exotic particles. And too many useless objects and upgrades that have no place in a "legit" efficient build.
I had 3 million exotic particles and now I have quadrillion exotic particles in just a few clicks.

I'm sad to see what this game became. This is of course just my opinion but buggy tick updates, negative prestige bug, and it takes a few hours tops to get 20-30k exotic particles after a fresh start by which time the lower tier cells are useless. And then a few prestige resets later the progress becomes so slow that it take days to get a single upgrade.

i know that updates are very frequent but SHEESH its only been a month and he thinks it has been quite a while... one tiny thing you don't respond to the comments much i don't know if you look at them or not but start replying to people i once played a game that was very boring but the developer responded to everything 4/5 of the recent comments had replies and other than that amazing ***** and i rarly ever give out 5 stars the only other time was for anti idle the game
I guess it's worth saying, I do try and read all of the comments. And I did try to respond very frequently at first, but it's gotten to the point where most of the comments are bug reports, or the same feature suggestions that I've been seeing for the last month. I would like to be able to tell people 'yes I'll fix this', but I don't know when I'll be able to, and I don't want to make promises that I can't keep.

No one else noticed the reference? This is an Industrialcraft reactor (minecraft mod) because it counts time in ticks (used in the mod) and most of the mechanics (heat, coolants, vents, cells, neutron reflection...) are taken from it. But having to change cells so quickly is kinda....

Too many useless objects/upgrades that make absolutely no sense at all.
The basics of the game are simple. Make a build that generates as much exotic particles per second as you can.
The only way to do this is to generate and dissipate as much heat as fast as possible.
The only usable objects here are vents, outlets and capacitators combined with maxing fluid hyperdynamics.
Using any other object will simply lower your heat dissipation hence lowering your exotic particles income lading to only 1 and only most efficient build that rules them all.
