Under rating threshold (show) you seriously need to figure out how to do offline time. i left the game in a menu for 3 hours nothing gained. Just brainstorming but the game works off ticks therefore couldn't you speed up ticks for each offline time. just save the clock on normal save, then just find the ticks from that time and compute them instantly. if it blows up tell them unstable reactor and blow it. this must be done off line time is to important for games like this.

Under rating threshold (show) I do find it somewhat annoying that I don't seem to be able to pull heat off of the extreme capacitors. I can flood my system with heat from them, but it doesn't seem to actually effect the heat on them compared to one not connected to my cooling system. a minor problem in an otherwise highly entertaining game.

Under rating threshold (show) @rtcvb32 As of currently my power store is 13Qi and I am in my mass protium phase where more than half the screen is single cells surrounding single vents to boost their power, I'll narrow them down when a few number maxes my power store fairly fast. I had a choice at the time. Go autosell and have a very low cap, one like an 1/8th of production or less, or lose autosell and use extreme capacitors without any heat generation to blow my power cap through the roof. It is a choice between active and idle, you can always change it after all you are only a prestige reset from switching back.

Under rating threshold (show) @neoccco The point is you shouldn't be upgrading protium cells so high if you can't replace them reasonably in that amount of time. Adding auto-replace to THAT cell would break the "balance mechanism" for that cell. That cell as you well know gets stronger with each "death" the point of replacing it manually is to have some "cost" for that nice benefit. Imagine getting protium cells upgraded to 25-50 tick life spans AND having auto-replace for them. They'd have no bad side and would grow so powerful so fast that nothing would come close. As it stands the only thing that makes them fair is that you have to actively replace them. If you want something strong that doesn't need so much activity choose another cell.

Under rating threshold (show) I like this game very much but as is upgraded protium cells with prestige to lower the amount of time it costs to burn up I came across the problem of needing to click every 45 seconds and wondered if you could add a presige upgrade to auto replace for protium cells. I would be very thankfull. eitherway I love this game and will be playing it for a long time.

Under rating threshold (show) One useful tidbit would be to see how much heat a vent is venting. I know it shows the max, but if you knew how much more it could handle at a glance, it'd be easier to see what improvements you could make, which you could remove. this could be a prestige upgrade, or just plain available, up to you of course. thanks for all the hard work

Under rating threshold (show) @turrowbby 100k-1m... more like 10k because protum basically caps out because of the fact that you can only sell so much and late game heat is more important so making use of the new cells would be better

Under rating threshold (show) @CarnationBloom - Somehow not having automatic selling of power seems like a huge disadvantage. Although if you had 50+ huge capacitors so you'd have 100Qa of power to store and sell manually, that could work... But probably best if you're only planning on doing the high power output when you're actually actively dealing with it. I'll consider trying that next time around, at least until i start auto-selling power. As for when you restart, if you x4 the size of your starting power/heat core, it speeds up the game a lot for that type of thing.

Under rating threshold (show) @turrobby Having protium cells auto-replace nullifies the balance he added. They are supposed to be manually replaced because they gain power with each "death". If you Auto-replace them then you dont have to be active to take advantage of their fast power growth and reasonable heat. You are paying for their ability with your effort, removing that would make them too convenient.

Under rating threshold (show) If you run into not having the "power" capacity to keep up with output and the prestige capacitor SEEMS to generate too much heat. Note the keywords in the description stating that its heat production is equal to 50% of the amount of AUTOMATICALLY SOLD power. On next reset with that device DO NOT upgrade improved power lines this will keep that capacitor from generating heat. You also won't be selling power automatically which will slow down the early game and it'll make you more active, but in the long run you'll get high capacity to sell manually and no excess heat. Fuel rods will still produce their heat but that is the nature of the beast.

Under rating threshold (show) What would be amazing is a prestige upgrade that would cost an extremely high amount of exotic particles (100k - 1m) that would allow you to auto-replace protium cells, as a somewhat balanced way to become overpowered.

Under rating threshold (show) @rtcvb32: I currently have 88 Heat Vents and 104 Extreme Capacitors running 15 Quad Nefa cells. It is definitely doable seeing as I haven't progressed that deeply into prestige upgrades. Prestige upgrades are necessary though to make it work at that level. Try Single Nefa cells first. And good luck.

Under rating threshold (show) @SolFuji - Except at some point you're generating far too much heat to make it even worth it or be able to cool it. Currently in another game i have the full screen full or regular capacitors and plating and can barely deal with 750T heat, but the heat generated by the extreme capacitors would be 5Qa or more from the power. If i can't deal with 700T, how would i deal with 5Qa? It just doesn't work. Maybe i don't have enough particles yet and haven't yet upgraded to levels where it's practical.

Under rating threshold (show) @rtcvb32: Try to use more than one extreme capacitor. If one generater 2 Qa heat, two generate 1 qa heat each, 4 generate 500T heat each, and so on. This way you schould reach a point where you can place enough vents or outlets around them to get rid of the heat.

Under rating threshold (show) @TruePhantom - Yeah, i tried heavily to use the extreme Capacitor. Generating 10T heat normally and 5Qa power, so i actually had to deal with 2.5Qa all from the Capacitor. If the extreme coolants could auto-replace then that would be fine as they seem to go hand in hand, but since they don't it's too much baby-sitting to make use of them.

Under rating threshold (show) @Mathew - i think components don't blow up for at least 1 tick, so if a fuel cell outputs more than it costs you can probably repeat this easily enough. If that's the case it's not really a bug, but it's not very conductive of making a stable reactor where it can run on it's own... Much like the super coolant and capacitors, they need you to babysit them.

Under rating threshold (show) From what I've tried so far, here's the easiest strategy to get up and running easily: First, don't worry about surrounding your fuel cells AT ALL. It's too hard to surround them with enough heat venting items anyways to cool off properly without taking out a ton of space. Put them off by themselves (do a 2x2 square). Then, put out 2 heat outlets so that each one has 4 vent sources. Don’t put anything around the actual fuel cells because the heat outlets will vent the heat before it ever hits your reactor. Also, never put vents directly next to the outlets, they'll burn out faster than they can cool off in higher levels. Put the two outlets 4 squares apart (like OEEEEO) You’ll then want to have another 20 exchangers/30 vents surrounding it—I tried to draw a diagram but I can’t keep the formatting. Just those two outlets, if you’ve got enough distribution, is more than enough to cool a 2x2 of fuel cells.

Under rating threshold (show) The main flaw of this is that the heat given off in reactors is what is used to make electricity, so seperating the two makes no sense.
