I'm at the endgame now and thin there's one thing we really need: A way to upgrade the transportation of heat through the Exchanger. With all the upgrades for the Vents, my Vents can handle more then i ever can deliver to them, since there can only be 4 exchangers attached at the same time.
The game really makes a lot of fun and with a new or better system to transport heat i'm sure it would be awesome. Maybe directly upgradeable pipes? Any System you can deliver heat over a longer distance.

I like this in principle, but I feel like the ticks are so coarse as to give unrealistic results. What I always seem to see are wild oscillations in temperature. Writing down the heat generated per tick for a number of successive ticks while letting it run in a stable state, I got heat values of 127, -124, 94, 538, -724, -341, 288, 0, -130, -60, 1.014k, -619, 794, 374, -322, -29, -1, 97...
It's hard to believe this is actually realistic or intended.

I just lost count on how many times I melt it down, you could definitely add a variable to count it. If the cooling mechanics were a bit deeper it would be nice. Anyway damn fine game.

It seems there are some rounding issues, so i didn't really need that last Reactor Plating, making it 456M /Tick with a Capacitor instead, as @del1277104 poster earlier.
Anyway loved the new update, but as we got the Sell all option, can we get a multiple build option too? :) Something like; just hold left mouse button down and then build everywhere we point.

Once you start sustaining quad-dolorium, half the screen is just plating and capacitors. Needs another tier of capacitor and plating. Maybe 11x increase for 10x power, so you have to pay for the extra 9 spots it gives you for upgrading?

When you're dealing with numbers that change constantly, it's a lot more readable if you pick a mono-spaced font for displaying them, one where a '1' and a '9' take up the same number of pixels.

I think the vents may be a little bugged, although from the description it appears they vent 3x as much as they can store it is still possible to have heat enter it faster than it can vent it out and still have it store inside it.
This should not be possible even if it works based on anything that enters the vent in a tick will be vented on the next as the vent should only ever have 1 ticks worth of heat inside it. Yet it can still store and reach 3 ticks of heat in certain cases.

There are multiple tick upgrates and they will often make an over heat if one is testing. There should be a 1x 2x 3x 4x 5x ect. so that you can slow down your ticks per second and make it faster again at will.

But should this be possible? As the Heat Vent is actually Venting almost 3 times its Heat Capacity.
I think the Heat Exchangers should be upgradeable as well, so they can keep up with the Upgraded Heat Vents instead.

I'll probably rework it once I have gotten some more upgrades to start a fully idle Nefastium-setup going (without the need to replace anything other than the Nefastium itself, which is quite a challenge I suppose).

Allow the cells to vent into the reactor (don't put any cooling elements directly on them) and then place a bank of exchangers connected to vents somewhere else in the reactor. The exchangers will pull the heat back out of the reactor and use the vents to cool it down. You could also place a cooling cell next to the power cell and then have exchangers pull heat from the cooling cell into fans to cool down the cooling cell.

There has to be some kind of technique to cooling down quad-dolorium cells with vents. Like as soon as I put down heat exchangers they explode. Any tips?

I think it would be amazing if there was an explanation in the help regarding placing fuel cells, specifically how placement affects the heat and power production.

It's very good, however, there's no way to slow down time, and as such if something starts overheating, it instantly just explodes, you may wana add a faster or slower option, and make the time upgrades just increase the amount you can speed up or slow down by.

Been fiddling around with things.
At the high end, I'm more limited by the capacity of my heat exchangers than anything else; it's possible to get vent/plating synergy more than strong enough to let your vents cool away more heat than their melting capacity. Unfortunately, exchangers are hard-capped, so they'll never get any better. Coolant is interesting, but there would need to be better exchangers to really take advantage of it.
As such, I'm going to reiterate my earlier suggestion about durability and exchanger improvements for the remaining empty upgrade slots. More durable heat vents could take advantage of extreme vent improvements, and more powerful heat exchangers could handle the resulting heat pumping needs.

I hit a limit at around 12M/tick running six clusters of 5 quad seaborgium cells. I just run out of cooling space. Any ideas how can I grow beyond this?

Just get a white screen: it never changes. I have the latest versions of Unity, Java, Flash, and Chrome, running on Windows 7.

Upgrade for the neuron reflectors would be really cool since we are also increasing the tick rate now <3 loving the game so far though, so thank you very much for making this game!
