Don't whine about your reactor blowing up, think like it was Chernobyl and you guys didn't follow safety regulation and boom, that happened

Perfect reactor, had the plutonium cell replaced upgrade. Heat vents and cells. All goes smoothly until I accidently placed a cell without the vent.
Everything blows up. I'm left with a red screen with only $100,000 ... I RAGE QUIT.

Hmm I'm not able to think of setup which will make heat exchangers useful. Ultimate heat exchanger has 231.48K exchange per tick. Quad dolorium cell has 4.166M heat per tick. If you put four coolant cell around dolorium cell then you are able to put only 8 exchangers around them that makes 1.6M of heat moved out of coolants. So the heat in coolants is rising up and you must replace them. Is there any other strategy or just put coolants around and wait and change them all the time?

I think I found another bug... I improve my heat vents by 30% for each plating now. The bonus might not get reduced when you reset the game?

hey dev, im starting a youtube series on this game, my youtube name is kaine toner, and the vid will be released today
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
has a bug , after awhile the heat vents just stoped venting heat , the heat exchanger stoped moving heat , and the fuel cells kept producing unlimited suply of energy

a little note about perpetual upgrades. For example you have a lot of thorium cells, but some of them have half of fuel remaining and others have full. Then when ones with a half of fuel will run out ALL of the cells will be replaced, even those which have still a half.

Can we get a hard calculation for energy/heat increase on Reflectors? I'm afraid to waste money to find out exactly how they fare.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, and one more thing: a "sell all" button would be nice. Perhaps only usable with no active cells in play to prevent abuse?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Unless I'm missing something only the first Heatsink upgrade works. With four upgrades having 25 platings still increases heatsink effectiveness by 25% instead of 100%.

Everything was going well, then all of a sudden, not well at all. Heat spiked to well over 40k (with a heat capacity of 1k), power was off the charts, and none of my heat vents worked anymore. The upgrades that automatically sell power aren't working, either.

Now that's what I call Idle Game: It does not work at all. Everything is greyed out, just the Help topic gives a text on how it's theoretically working.

fun game...five stars.
but something happened where my fuel cells never depleted or overheated, and I made money infinitely. It happened when I built the heat spreaders in a full circle surrounded by a circle of heat vents.

I think Ultimate Neutron Reflector is supposed to reflect 2M pulses instead of 200K to maintain the progression. Missing a zero.

The new upgrade lines are very welcome. Two suggestions though: (well, really the same for both:)
-Allow auto-refuel to be toggled, in case someone wants to let some cells run themselves out fully before demolishing a structure.
-Allow tick rate upgrades to be turned off, in case someone wants to try something dependent on manual cooling/energy selling.

How can you ever handle nefastium? It produces enough heat to require 12 ultimate heat exchangers, but puts it into the 4 adjacent squares. even if you had a setup with 4 coolant cells spread into 8 exchangers, I don't see how you can move heat away from the cell fast enough with any design (8 exchangers comes to 1.85 M while nefastium makes 2.89 M heat per second.)

I saw a little reactor setup on reddit and thought I would try it out and now i'm making infinite energy despite the cells being depleted.

major bug: upon accessing my reactor today, i replaced a spent uranium quad cell, using the new replace all function. upon the cells going active, one side of my reactor (built with a core of heat exchangers and coolant cells, a mid ring of vents, and outer ring of uranium quad cores) immediately overheated, but did not explode. in addition, all of my cells rapidly depleted, at the rate (calculated) of 28 ticks per second. all of my systems were advanced tier, and I had a good number of advanced tier capacitors arranged in a different location. as i started looking over the reactor i noticed that my power was constantly rising, to the capacitor limit, but no automatic selling was occurring. assuming this to be a simple startup bug i reloaded the game, at which time my reactor went to full power, melted down, and then refused to allow me to sell any power or decrease the heat in the reactor. reloading the page again brought up a unity failure message.

Weird bug: Suddenly all the heat vents went red and i could sell electricity all day long without depleting uraniums. Kinda like infinite money.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You have an overflow error or something. My uranium cells have negative durability, and the absolute value is increasing rapidly. Also, I have an advanced heat vent stuck at -3 heat.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have gotten an error twice where my fuel cells make an infinite amount of heat and power, making me able to cash out with every click, but all of my coolant pads end up with 7.1k or so heat. Nothing explodes but everything should be on fire. Also note that this happens after replacing a fuel rod that has normally been a stable setup
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, i understand why heat goes up and down all the dime. It is dynamic because of heat exchangers. But why my power goes up and down? it should drop or raise constantly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok! This patch makes things a lot more balanced. Just a couple things that seem a little off- heat exchangers don't scale with upgrades, meaning that once you have a few top-tier platings down, it becomes more efficient to spam vents / coolant cells rather than really clever heat exchanger strategies. Also, the auto-sell amount doesn't even come close to how much you make by late mid-game, which will get in the way of things if you're intending to make it a fully idle game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Darkcoder, You have to use a little more problem solving than that. You don't just put the vents right next to your fuel. You make complex systems of coolant, vents, and heat balancers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So after a bit of playing, I take it at the end of the game you have to repeatedly replace ultimate coolent cells. None of the other heat management mechanics in the game seem to be able to handle even a double firing final core.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The cooling system makes no sense. The Quad Seaborgium/Dolorium/Nefastium cells generate too much heat for even 4 Ultimate Heat Exchangers to transfer, so there's no way to cool these fast enough.
This means the best/only strategy is to surround your cells with coolant cells and replace them when they get too hot, as replacing them is incredibly cheap.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I got a weird bug that made one of my coolers go 18k/800 heat, depleted energy sources won't go empty, but you can't sell any of the coolers until you remove all of the heat exchangers. And then, all the coolers explode at the same time
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Looks like the +1 tick upgrades are buggy as they are power overloading a build that was working before AND they are slowly down the game comp
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Found a glitch where my reactor heat went into the negative, which then caused my exchangers to spaz out and when I added a source of heat I got really high power and heat income, but the heat won't leave my coolant, so I cant fix the problem.
