The "Ultimate Neutron reflector" has a capacity of 200K. Based on the progression of the earlier reflectors, it should have been 2M.
Not that I really see the point of using reflectors, anyway...

there's a small problem with this beautiful new update:
the heat lowering ability of the vents now easily outranges their capacity. my proposal is to scale it it up in the same way
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The "Ultimate Heat Exchanger" are not good enough to come higher then tier 4. because the new stýstem the heat vents are 5x and more better then the heat exchanger. That mean I wish a upgrade to enchant the heat exchanger pls.^^ If you think to so,pls like the comment^^

You don't have to do anything complex to add offline mode. You just have to make a function at the load of the game which simulates what would happen if you didn't close the game.

@gedarfer: Your build is very inefficient. More Plates mean the need for reduced amount of vents and you can just use heat exchanges+vents to create larger groups of cells
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh.. oh my god. My system.. it's so efficient. It's perfect. All cells filled, no heat output, no power output. But I'm constantly making money, nothing is degrading, and my rods are constantly replaced.

Faster tick rate is fine, but... Can we have a way to scale it back at will? I really like this upgrade, but when testing reactors, I'd like the ability to reign it back, so that the unstable reactors i'm so keen on building don't blow up before I notice how screwed I am.

I would love to see a little more intelligent behaviour on Heat Exchangers. In my opinion they should always try to dump heat into a heat vent when the heat vent is not running at full throttle. This way the reactor could really cool down instead of having a small percentage of heat always present.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So, I get the super heat vent before I get the advanced heat exchanger... I will have to do with a 16 heat/tick exchange while I have the potential to outdo my earlier vents... what?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
would be good if you could change the amount of heat going to certain areas so that the vent rate can be increased/altered
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Anyone feel that the heat vent max cap too low? i buy a lot of plate and boost the vent to something like lower 25k/tick which it's max cap is 34k.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Like the two new upgrades, but an option for turning them on/off would be nice, especially for the tick one so you can experiment with new stuff without it dumping 5 ticks of heat into your system every second.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Small suggestion. As someone who isn't particuarly fantastic at mental arithmatic, how about some kind of "debug" upgrade that allows us to see how much heat is going into a heat vent per tick?
I've got kind of a cross-cross pattern which isn't *quite* 1:1 between fuel cell and heat vent because of the total size of the reactor space, and just to be on the safe side i'm more or less assuming that every fuel cell is emitting it's total heat/tick to each adjacent heat vent rather than being shared between them, even though I know that's wrong and I'm drastically overcompensating I'm not sure by how much.

The new tick feature is a neat thing, i would add a possibility to go back to lower speed though, just for setting things up and stuff. Great game by the way and amazing developer!

So I painted myself into a corner.
I am no longer producing energy, and don't have the money to buy more reactors - I just purchased an upgrade. Without the ability to anti-idle any cash, it looks like my only option is to hard-reset the game.
Thankfully, I only recently started, but I'm worried about this happening late game.
It isn't possible to completely run out of money. Your 'sell power' button turns into a 'scrounge for cash' button under otherwise game-ending conditions.

There needs to be a way to keep transfer pipes relevant. For anything above uranium they are utterly useless, direct fans are the only way to cool anything plutonium and above. Excellent game though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't seem to figure out the heat output of active cells vs fans and how the exchangers work.. is there someone that can explain this to me, or perhaps a link that goes into more details and perhaps a few examples? Using tons of cooling tanks directly next to cells isn't the best option considering i have to switch them out often..

Nice idea, well done, good updates. I like it.
Just one request (no problem yet, but just in case):
If you change some heat balancing, please give us some way to check&change our reactor design so it doesn't blow up when I come back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
can we please make heat exchangers NOT balance by percentage. the way it is now they wait for your reactor heat to get to 1% then they start putting heat into vents this would be fine but it makes testing your reactor VERY HARD when you have 36b heat capacity and your testing a reactor that makes only 320 heat as you need to wait for the heat exchangers to start working at 100% speed

Tips (thx troublemaker83 for the first one):
Right click = sell
shift + right click = sell all
shift + left click = replace all (on empty cell with same type selected)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
heat exchangers surrounded by 4 vents each will constantly cool your reactor without risk to the exchangers or the vents. Just make sure your reactor has a high enough maximum to catch the heat before the exchangers remove it. Not sure how high this strategy will work though. I am using 5x5 quad Tier 3s on full auto via Tier 5 exchangers/vents.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@bastischo Think of it as a buffer. The vent can immediately eliminate a certain amount of heat, plus can stand having a little extra heat building up inside, but not for long. Here's a screenshot of an example I set up for you: http://i.imgur.com/xJMuUXY.jpg?1 Look at the turquoise and yellow cells. The turquoise generate 2k heat each, so it's fine as the vent dispatches approx 4.1 k per tick. But when I added the yellow one, 320 k heat is added, which is over what the vent can cool but still low enough for the vent to not explode immediately (as you can see it is about to though, and it did in a second or two). So yea, some kind of small emergency buffer in case you give it too much heat at once.

Update: Late game(around dolorium, currently unsure about nefastium) it appears the best way to deal with heat is to have coolant cells suck up all the heat, and then have an ultimate heat exchangers suck it up and then vent it out. Base nefastium(according to calculations) will take about 50 ultimate cooling cells to contain all the heat.

my most wanted feature is a [sell all] button. it would make experimenting a much faster process and would make redesigning the reactor require up to 303 less clicks.

Warning to newbies: Don't invest in the chronometer upgrades unless you have an extremely good reason for doing so. It will come back to bite you if you end up going supercritical - you will not have enough time to even attempt to dump all that heat.

Neat game. I liked it at the beginning, since I like upgrade games. But once I got $50M, I had a stable setup that I could keep expanding as I grew, so there was no point to playing anymore.
