I think it's actually losing heat *ever so slowly*, but waiting several minutes I didn't see the heat drop by .001B so I figure it's basically stable. I couldn't find a way to *legitimately* use the new heat outlets for more power than I could manage ignoring them though.

I find it funny, all these reactors exploded with the update, yet mine survived because I said to myself heat in reactor? NOPE.

From now on can you just pause the game when it's updated? Show a big "game was updated" splash screen or something. I just got a meltdown right now.

dear developer, I really appreciate your effort in making the game better and updating it, but PLEASE, PLEASE give us the chance to at least sell our components before your update just makes everything explode.

having fun with the outlet bug and i noticed that double dolorium cells make more heat then quad dolorium cells when both are surrounded by 4 quad uranium cells that cant be intended

Idea (you probably have a surplus of these): Completely separate games. A button in the top right that has [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] and each is the same exact game/layout but are separate but they can all run at the same time. (For example I can use 2 to experiment on which piping systems I can use and stuff)

nicedia: You said that the "heat exchanger is useless" because the "outlet is too aggressive"... well, you're sort of right, but if you have enough exchangers around the outlet and vents it won't blow up.

I just wanted to say thanks. I don't understand how this game doesn't have a community (does it?) because each update makes the game so much more enjoyable. The concept of the game itself is fun, and now each update is just making it more addictive. Thanks for working so hard on your game!

I managed to stack a whooping 137 double nefastium + 3 quad reflector
but I can't attain equilibrium on heat so I can't make use of fission.
Managed a +12k/-12k heat per tick, but no 0
also obviously outlet are bugged

...I realize that I'm not the first voice on this, but as soon as I started the new build (typos fixed in capacitors/plating) my reactor vaporized from latent heat allowed for the fission bonus. Since the game is already set up to deplete cells upon update, maybe you could also pause the game automatically when an update is applied? It wouldn't cause any problems with offline mode, since we currently don't have one, and would prevent unforeseeable meltdowns like this.

Well sh*t, so I just refresh the page because I heard there was a new update and all of a sudden my multi trillion dollar factory producing over a billion power per tick completely exploded before my eyes! This pissed me off a bit...could you maybe make it so the game automatically starts paused when refreshing it? So that when such a major update happens again it doesn't cause my whole factory to go off like Fukushima.

fission upgrade is useless. because we have outlet and we can no more control heat. heat exchanger is useless. outlet is too much aggressive. always they destroy heat exchangers. inlet is useless. we can not control inlet and outlet.

Needs better tutorials. Too much of it is guess work and while the game is a neat concept, I have a short attention span. If I have to restart every time I try something new, Im not going to stick around.

Hit refresh and INSTANTLY melted down. If you're going to push an update that messed with heat in a negative way, at LEAST make it so that the game starts paused so we can deal with it.
I already have the game sell all of your cells (For a full refund) when you update to a new version. But you're right, now that there's a 'paused' mode, that should be used as well.

It would be nice if the reactor stopped itself when you reload the page, because obviously everyone's reactor exploded instantly...

daaaaaAAAAAMMMIT! I had my reactor sitting just slightly cooler than mordor, then the update tweaked the plating effectiveness.
Next update, ya, emptying cells is fine, but please empty the heat too, so we don't lose our 1.5 b/t dolorium builds?

With the new update (1/30/15), my entire reactor design detonated as it spontaneously overheated now that the heat exchangers no longer interact with the reactor. That was millions of dollars of design, all wasted.
Perhaps, in the future, you could implement some kind of delay between accessing the game file (for the first time since a new update) and implementing a major change that could result in catastrophe for a ton of people?
Or warn us of a potentially disastrous alteration beforehand?

After i read, that the heat outlets heat anything, i decided to improve my full idle quad nefastium cell reactor: 8 of the Quad nefastium cells in a group passively cooled. The 8 quad dolorium cells are there to balance the heat. http://i.imgur.com/gkTVcN9.jpg

BUG: the new heat outlets take heat out of the reactor without caring whats next to them. so if you build an indestructible tile without heat capacity next to them(e.g. themselves, platings, cells), they will magically make the heat disappear.

oh, and since you changed the balancer, you'd better change the help texts as well. Also in that screen hovering of reactor still works.

Idea / Suggestion: To be able to manipulate heat amount transfer for each side if the heat exchangers. For example tell a heat exchanger to transfer 70% of the heat to the bottom side and 15% for left, 15% for right side. Also you can restrictions to directions of the heat transfer - for example heat should be only coming from one side , and pushed to the other 3 sides

Huh, new build just before I signed in - kaboom. I would be nice if game would pause on load when a new build change parameters. So we can at least sell some stuff.

It seems that the last update bugged the boost of heat vents by reactor platings. As a result, my reactor saw red. Argh! ;)
