Last update was fantastic. The game seems more balanced, and the new upgrades help immensely with time consumption. definitely worthy of 4 stars in my opinion.

I was having a great time till everything kept exploding. I had such little heat so I added one of those reflector things. Instant explosion. The description for them needs to be more informative besides 'increases heat' I don't want to rebuild all my stuff so I'm moving on to a different game.

would be awesome if you added an upgrade to increase the amount the heat exchanger could transfer each tick. I can't put enough heat into my vents to let them run at capacity.

Seems that the more caps added, the less power income. Too many causes the power income to subtract/drop to zero. Is this a bug or part of the game? It makes some sense in the real world, but sucks that it's part of the game.

I'm loving this game. Very nice idea, and executed relatively well for the game's early stages. I do have a question though, and I'd be very happy if I got an answer. Is it possible that in the future, there might be an update that will add new reactors/more spaces to buy?

Ultimate capacitor is 1.99M/Tick with the second to last upgrade... The last one seems to take it to about 2, from the reactor design with 7 quad nefastium single stressing 4 ultimate coolers each for about 988M/tick.

Yes, I played with the heat exchangers, but they aren't good enough to spend time designing with. Just add plating until the vents are exactly what you need. Oh, and the upgrades -say- 1%, but they -mean- 5% for the venting. The big capacitor is like 1.99something million $/tick. Anyway, 3 heat pipe take a max of .75M off of a coolant/tick... or more like 8 time .75 off 4 coolants is only 6M, and you need like a giant thing to do that and they're screwey as hell so you need tons of plates. It would be a huge reactor block too. Just for 6M... with about 90 ultimate plates (less than 1/3 of the tile) you get the ultimate fans to about 1.5M, and you don't have to replace coolants... because the heat exchangers are screwey.

I don't know if there is a more optimum way of having a stable reactor when working with pairs of Quadruple Dolorium Cells (red ones) than having 167 Ultimate Reactor Plating; but if there is one, I can't see it.
Being in this situation, I'm quite scared of what having a pair of Quadruple Nefestium Cells looks like. D:

Without any kind of scaling on the heat transfer rate of exchangers, this just turns into 2 fans per nefastium + a bunch of plates. Would be much more interesting if exchangers transferred heat faster with upgrades. It would mean using the heat in the reactor itself to transfer heat to exchangers remotely which are then cooled by fans. That's possible with lower tiered fuel rods, but nefastium, nope. I like the idea of surrounding rods with other rods so you have to cool the whole reactor instead of just directly cooling the rods with fans. As it stands, that's not really how it works... which is disappointing.

Strategy for starters: Place Heat Vents next to your Cells. They will vent the heat so your reactor doesn't explode. Once you get some money and some upgrades, Buy several Capacitors and Plating. The Capacitors will auto collect your money for you and the plating will make your heat vents vent more heat. You need a lot of Plating to manage the heat of higher tier cells.

So, the heat exchangers don't work properly. I can cool off a quad seaborgium cell using only one fan. However if I hook it up to a heat exchanger that is adjacent to 3 fans, my reactor has a meltdown. I think that if a heat exchanger is near a fan/cooling cell/heat exchanger, it would only output to it, and not the reactor.

I cannot make a reactor that can harvest more then one Quad Dolorium cell in a row, no mather how much coolant, vents or exchanger i put in, can somebody give me advice on this?

Also: visual bug? When I let the reactor cool down, it does not say -x number of ticks, it just says x ticks, but the number goes down.

Question: Why does the number of ticks become random? For example it would bounce from 4, to 7 ticks randomly. Is it there a period of time where the heat is being transferred to the vents, or is it instantaneous?

I am just starting the game had 3 quad uranium cells with tier 2 fans - grabbed the double capacitor upgrade and it immediately blew up a fan and overheated my reactor. any idea why?

Can be awesome if you have the chance to sell heated coolants for profit. Don't get me wrong, not because it has anything to do with power, but realistically, storing a lot of heat and have it released elsewhere can make lots of applications to it. Such as another source of power (Geothermal) perhaps?

@Link_JR: That's exactly how heat exchangers are supposed to work (at least in this and previous updates), they balance the heat between itself, the components it's attached and the reactor. So, say you have one cell generating 10 heat per tick attached to a heat exchanger, the exchanger distributes 5 heat to the reactor and keep 5 heat for itself (based on %).

To everyone commenting on capacitors not filling your power gauge. There is an upgrade for an auto sell feature that depends on the max power you can hold, the full amount of the power bar which comes from your capacitors. If the rate you are selling is higher than the rate you produce from the auto sell upgrade the bar will remain at zero and will directly go to the bank. At the point congratulations you have made it to idle mode.

There should be a setting where the heat exchangers will first use the available space on the fans before adding it to the reactor and themselves.

Heat Exchangers are acting so bizzarelly right now that without them there is no heat being generated, but as soon as I place one my heat bar starts to go up, and then keeps going back and forth in balance at some point.

Heat Exchangers need an upgrade badly, they are basically useless after a certain point. Coolants need an auto-replacement upgrade to be usefull for "idling" too.

I found a problem: when I replaced my vents with the shift click function, it removed all the vents, even though only some of them could be replaced with the money I had. Led to an immediate meltdown.

It seems that the capacitors slow down my power production. The more capacitors I have, the less power I produce, until there's a point that the production isn't enough and gets stuck at zero.

In regards to my last post, I've replaced every one of the highest level reactor plate with the lowest instead, and everything's the same except that instead of having heat balance in the millions, it's balancing in the hundreds. This is the biggest oversight I've noticed, and everything would flow so much more smoothly and logically if exchangers just prioritized pumping heat into vents before anything else.

also, exchangers don't transfer heat to vents. I think a "circuitry" dynamic here would be great...to connect directionally from one unit to another to create series or parallel circuits

Amazing game I really love this played it all the way through to get almost all the machines and i said lets restart so i over heated the place leaving me with a little amount of money and gave me another great experience

The heat exchangers really should put the maximum amount of heat that vents can eject into them. I didn't realize they weren't doing that and I was suddenly able to handle way more heat production by simply putting vents directly on power cells instead of using intricate setups with heat exchangers and coolant tanks.

My question is if the last power source makes 100 million heat per tick and the best heat exchanger only tranfers 200k per tick how in the hell are we supposed to keep it cool
