it would be nice if the infinity button was a little more descriptive as to whether infinity buy is currently on or off, kinda hard to tell especially when things take over 1k ticks to deactivate

The infinity symbol’s (The button’s) purpose is to turn off infinity buy on your power cells in case you want it. It does actually work.

The only thing I can really think of missing right now is automating the reflectors and coolant cells, along with maybe base upgrades for the reactor (heat and energy not tied to plating and capacitors), and (if you want to be like every other idle game out there) some form of reset progress rewards... Unless that's already in place, I'm afraid of that reset button.

faster upgrades or bigger capacitors would be fine.
the same for the shielding.
half of the field ist just capacitors and shielding, i reduced the reactor to mono nefastium cells because its easier to handel. if i would take the quad cells i could not save the profit (idleing) or even have muchbetter output becuase of lack of space for cooling.

Great game until you get to the end... Cells actually increase the heat they generate by the number of cells they are next to. There is no way to identify how much heat they will produce. If you place a vent and then place a cell in the corner of the vent, it does not reduce the heat. When placing cell groups in the shape of a +, sometimes the diagonal ones begin to count toward the exchange a vent can cool. Had a hands free setup going for about an hour while saving for Perpetual Dolorium. I finally bought the upgrade and when I switched back to my reactor all my vents exploded.... I had changed nothing in my layout. Fix the bugs please. 3/5

Why doesn't the heat evenly disperse? I'm watching my vents light up like a christmas tree with flashing lights. One vent explodes while the other gets no heat at all.

i like this game a lot, the only thing i would do is add layers. like a bottom layer, middle layer, and a top layer. each layer affecting the one next to it. that would be really fun.

I just decided to restart due to that glitch. Now, this time, I've got this weird problem where one of my items (the basic heat exchanger) no matter what retains heat. No matter how many fans I place around it it will never full disperse to a fan to self-cool.

@rageingnonsense Definitely not, I still get really terrible lag if I have too many cells at once. Try to use builds focusing on fewer, better cells to help with it.

Something's weird. My reactor is NOT melting down and I don't understand why...
I think I have heat vents working BETTER than what is displayed in the tool tip box on top. I put a line of Quad Dolorium cells between two lines of heat vents. So each cell is adjacent to two vents and two other cells (except for the ones at the edges). The problem is each cell produces 8.17B heat on its own while my vents "only" dissipate 12B heat per tick. I thought that with each cell adjacent to two other cells, their heat production would be multiplied by 9, reaching 73.53B. So, how is this possible? Am I doing a mistake in how I calculate the heat production of the cells? I tried lowering my heat vents efficiency by reducing the number of capacitors in my reactor and I found out they will begin overheating when their venting capacity decreases below 11.5B

Great game, though the ability to perhaps expand the reactor/get multiple reactors would make the game a lot more interesting in my opinion.

i have found a problem, if you pause the game you can still remove heat from the reactor itself, which in the later game is no big deal but at the start it makes it really easy

you should add new items like insulators (keeps heat out if you surround something with it)or new tiers of items like octanium or more new items

muti: I agreed with you, when the usual limiting factor are heat and auto-sell, better spread two factor to different components to encourage balanced build. For now plating receives no love.

chaos: I know there are ways to balance a hot build to zero, but they took too much space which will pull the output below a cold build, I still got upgrades to do so a build runs hot for a day sounds good to me.

Before the last update, the inlets/outlets were uselessly underpowered in late stage. Now the tier 5 is uselessly overpowered in late stage and the tier 4 is so much less that neither one is helpful. It would be nice if the Outlets would only transfer as much heat as the components they are connected to can handle, obviously maxing out at whatever tier you buy. Right now 4 vents on an Outlet immediately blow all the vents.

It would be nice to see basic values and increased values due to level up. For building elements but also for reactor heat and power income.
It's a nice game and I appreciate that the developper(s) are updating the game on a regular base!

Retract previous. He's right, I missed that plating provides the 1% boost for exchangers. So, exchangers base are 4x the vent rate. Just where I need them :|

@Kohlenstoff, For that, the exchanger upgrade would be close to 100x the cost of the vent upgrade. My current stat where I posted that: Heat vent 8, Exchanger 8, Active Venting 8. Costs are 25Qa, 60Qa, 100Qa respectively. And vents are 2x the exchanger rate. So, while I could dump 100x more into exchangers, for equal money vents are 2x better.

I feel like having the capacitors on the +100% base upgrades doesn't work. Only use those for cells where you are going to move on to a higher tier fairly quickly. Even if the price increases faster, I feel it really needs to be the double upgrades again.

My only suggestion for improvement (beyond your continued balancing and tweaking, which is much appreciated!) would be to add a "drag to buy" system. That would make things MUCH easier when filling in empty spaces after the occasional nuclear meltdown.
Also maybe a counter at the bottom showing us how many civilians we've killed and/or mutated with our foolish mistakes.

if you want more this is a ripoff of the reactor setup in industrialcraft a minecraft mod its better in mine craft except if you mess up your heat it blows up half your base

@scorchx: no risk, no fun. The risk of explosion is actually an important part of this game. If you want to play it safe, you have enough possibilities ingame to do so. Especially at endgame. When you drive the reactor at the limit, it gives lot of profit, but may explode. If you drive it safe, it gives less profit, but survives even some heavy mistakes.
