If you ever make a sequeal you should make it 3-d were you play as the boss of the power plant. You can switch between a top down blueprint view and the first person view were you walk around. Also if you are walking around and the power cells are real hot it might burn you. Just an idea but nice game :D.

Nice, the uranium power upgrade costs only as little as 1Qa and yet offers a huge energy bonus of 2 per cell! I smell a bargain guys!

add a testable version of cells, which will cost money, and show you how much heat it would send out, but don't produce actual heat/nor give money

xxlistatxx, the more capacitor you put into your reactor, the more heat your heat vents are able to vent, so since you had the meltdown, you need to rebuild your capacitors to increase the heat vented.

i'm somewhat annoyed that the cell replacement function isn't working, but it's amusing enough that i'm willing to keep on going without :P

i placed a dolorium cell (227M heat per pulse) next to an Ultimate Heat Vent (lowers it's heat by 756M per pulse) and everything instantly overheated and exploded. wow. what just happened.

ravensvoice: that still wouldn't work out because the vents can hold a maximum of 98B and would blow up immediately...the heat they store per tick is about a fifth of the capacity right now

For some reason my ult fans were able to cool around 30b per tick, I accidently had a meltdown and now they only cool 1b per tick. Now I can't really do anything.

gromhammerfaust: heat outlets move the heat number to EACH adjacent component that cvan take heat. so with 4 vents around it it moves 4 times its number of heat out of the reactor. EACH of the vents needs to be able to handle that number or it will run into trouble. so you need 157.646B/tick vents for that heat outlet or connect the vents to heat exchangers and more vents

GromHammerfaust, if you READ the Inlet and Outlet, you will see they push X amount of heat to EACH adjacent square. They do not split this amount like Exchangers do. In order to keep your vents from overheating, you would need to increase their cooling to match the outlet you are using

logic mistake:
the heat outlets take out a certain amount of heat from the reactor, in my case 157.646B/tick...I have 4 vents installed around it that eliminate 43.679B/tick each, so all heat from the outlet should be constantly covered...
but the outlets seem to take more heat, because the vents are exploding at a certain heat in the reactor (in which there is more than enough capacity)
AND, the vents don't seem to take out heat constantly because every outlet/vent installation is fluctuating
so where's the point?

Not sure where your going to take this DEV now u done most of the major balancing, but this game is great with excellent support and a lot of potential, an example i would gave is maybe start on easy level with 8x8 reactor, upgrades to 16x16 + 24x24, then unlocks medium level , start on 24x24, and again upgrades reactor sizes, to eventually unlock hard mode ( all the while leaving previous reactors running) and so on to insane level that has different shaped reactors /blocked cells and even levels with various equipment locked for that level + a sandbox mode in the menu, with leader boards, medals, awards giving extra bonuses etc(maybe check out a few good tower defence and idle games for ideas etc maybe even releasing a full on v2.0 wih alll the exrtra work done), keep up the the great work, keep things challenging and moving to retain the communty interest you`ve now got yourself:)

This could use a "sell all" button for when you get ready to go to the next tier and have a bunch of stuff to get rid of. If I am failing to notice one I'de appreciate it if someone pointed it out :\

I would love to have two options for selling fuel. If I sell instantly, I loose all my money. If I use a process that takes 100 tics, I get my money back. You are punished for overloading the reactor, but you can experiment with builds without wasting a lot of money.

Having a shorthand of the reactor configuration on the main screen would make it easier to share screen shots with other players so we can compare apples to apples.

Nefastium cells aren't working properly. If I put a tier 1 nefastium cell (51.871B heat) between two vents (30.284 heat each), their combined venting of ~60.5B heat venting SHOULD handle the cell. However, only one vent takes the heat and rapidly explodes.

It feels like the later upgrades are just there for show, currently my bottleneck is how fast i can sell power. The screen is more or less filled with capacitors, yet it's not enough to reach Qis at reasonable rates.

Nah, if you play through again, you'll find that the key to the game is being able to use more capacitors. I would simply like them to have a larged difference in auto-sell and capacity, to allow for active play to pay off. But, then, in the end game you'll still find the coolants can't do the job. But, that might just be the way it has to be end game. Either way, afterall, the screen is like all capacitors, BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE EACH TICK. That's what the capacitors are for. Essentially progress is in being able to use more capacitors simultaneously.

Game was much more interesting with OP capacitor and weak vents. Managing heat with exchangers and multiple vents allowed for many interesting setups, and low number for capacitors made it possible to have enough squares to build everything needed.

downgrading upgrades would be nice. I missclicked somewhere and now manual venting is at 1Qa, but i'd like to have it at 0,1T so i can balance out the minor heat increase my current forcing setup has

Lol, for active players. Those ultimate coolants only last a couple ticks against quad nefs on a two row wide configuration with coolants on each side. You'll only be able to go about half the row down too, w/o maxing your piggy bank each time the coolants fill. I got to 83T/t. But it blew up both experiments due to incredible danger of the setup. Definitely need to be fully engaged and prepared for a loss. Also, too much maintenance to make money as fast as idle setups. You could get like 150T/t or somewhat less. Then you need to sell the energy and replace the coolants. Basically, you just start and pause the game as fast as possible sell the energy and replace the coolants. I don't think you can go fast enough to make money faster.

The principle is good but as a game, It's not very user-friendly: it takes time to really work out. When I say "Needs development" I mean we all need this to be developed. I can't think of anything better.

There should be a way to turn off or lower the amount of heat plates remove. I want to put heat into the reactor and the plates just remove it.

"Save / Load" 4 design would be great. So as "Save / Load" 4 game, while it unstable and bugged with mathematics errors.

i really wish you and other people wouldnt use unity for browser games. people using dev builds of google chrome dont get their unity web player updated when it updates, we have to wait a week or two, sometimes more. as such it makes it impossible for me to play this game again for the next few weeks.

@phreaks Fill 75% od reactor with ultimate capacitors and have urgent upgrades (mostly the +% to vent effective). Surround one nefastium cell with 4 ultimate vents and ta daaa, it will work.

right now i can handle 15 single Nefastium cells, i don't see how there any way to inprove it.. all the upgrades now are just completely unaffordable

After the two 10 Qi Upgrades my reactor delivers 28.2 Trillion full idle: http://i.imgur.com/8biOtW8.jpg The next interesting upgrade costs 50 Qu. Now the progress will become much much slower.

How about a second reactor? Make it crazy expensive, but if it blows up, you wont destroy the stuff in your primary reactor. Makes for some pretty good experimenting!
