i now have 8 protium cells each cooled with 3 vents a 30% reflektor between each 2
12 platings and 3 dolorium cells to hold temperature
the rest of my reactor is just full of capacitors and they are not enough to sell the power...
really i need better capacitors
and a (prestige)upgrade for cell-lifetime would be nice 3,6k ticks for protium are too low

Let me get this straight, I have money to build a nuclear reactor with infrastructure to sell power to local utility company but I had to scrounge for $10?! Good job Dev! I'm happy with this game..and addicted.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hooray! I found a working system for two Protium Cells each surrounded by Ultimate Neutron Reflectors! It sells all the power automaticly and requires 138 Ultimate Capacitors! Yay! *sets alarm to replace Protium Cells every 5 minutes and waits for exotic points to appear*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
anthema, sell all is not needed. if you shift right click on a component you sell every one of that type. also if you shift click on a component with the same kind of component selected but of different quality level it replaces them all (or only some if you dont have enough money)

I have now reached the point where I haven't got enough Ultimate Capacitors (112) to sell all the power, with only two Protium Cells and all upgrades I can buy with the amount of money I get. I'm trying to grind exotic points, but I can't possibly get more power now with this layout... I personally can't figure out a smaller layout for the cooling of these two Protium Cells. Since the Protium cells don't replace automaticly I have to replace them very often, which is annoying for a lazy person like me... Well then, I'm going to continue experiment with smaller cooling systems... :P (I might have created disasters worse than Chernobyl)

I think I have identified a problem with the Heat Inlets. It seems that even if there isn't any heat for it to remove from adjacent objects (let's say a vent with excess heat), it just fills the reactor with "ghost heat." I've placed an inlet next to a vent with no heat (not attached to anything that could fill it), yet my heat continues to rise.
Still loving the game though.

How do you get exotic particles? I got a bunch of them but I want to know exactly how to get them. Also if you are able to slow down the ticks then that just takes away the element of suprise bitch explode everything in your reactor.

One thing I think might be interesting. If when you prestige, you kept the upgrades for the cells lower than current lowest tier cell you have on the grid. Of course you would have to buy back the refill upgrade but I would like to see it get a little faster each time you prestige. also, after a very short time it becomes pointless to put money into upgrading low tier items like Plutonium or uranium so doing this would give a reason to upgrade them past level 6.
Either way its still a great game and addictive as hell as you try to rebuild your reactor to try and squeeze out as much energy and push the reactor as much as possible.

Finally. After i lost my savegame this morning and i restarted from scratch im now almost back to the point which i had before losing the savegame (amount of EPs).

Message to the game Dev:
I'm at a point where the majority of my reactor is made up of Ultimate Capacitors. Maybe introduce a battery, Transformer, something to store more energy or better upgrade structure so I can sell more energy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think you may have overdone the making it easier stuff. After prestiging, I find that I can't even finish building a reactor before it's time to upgrade to a new build. The game just flies by now.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The prestige button said I would get about 200 EP on reset. I reset and ended up with 25023 EP. Guess that makes up for losing all my old normal and EP upgrades with this last update.

I'm getting pretty sick of this. I take out one quad dolorium cell and replace it with a solo nefastium cell to analyse my reactor heating performance which had been working amazingly...the reactor explodes in a second.
What's the point in having a ton of heat plating if it doesn't even buy you a few seconds to react?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
seeing as the amount of heat i am generating and supposedly spewing into the atmosphere is apocoliptic, and the amount of catastophic meltdowns, i hope this reactor is not located on planet earth, otherwise it is now unhabitable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
New update seems to easier the progression. Coolants need to be checked as they become quickly outdated by exchanger upgrades (which can hold around x5 more heat than the same lvl coolants in my current situation). Nice game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, nice update. I had been waiting for a long time to prestige again and now suddenly i have 28K exotic particles, and increased my production from 18T to 678T... It will definetly make the game much faster. I wish i could rate it 5/5 again... :P

Please, fix this extremely annoying behaving: When you get out of $$$ to buy the currently selected item, it deselects and when you have enough $$$ back you have to select it again. It would be nice if the currently selected items just get temporarily disabled but not deselected.

The Forcefull Fission upgrade, i believe, would be much more sought out, if you were able to control how much heat you want in your system at a given moment, like saying "Until my heat level reaches 99% capacity, coolers will keep it stable" instead of this constant max power
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Clicking a prestige item that has already been bought uses up exotic particles, and the price keeps going up. Please fix!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also a few ideas, just for fun: future experimental fuels should include some "unstable" ones that have a chance of increasing heat exponentially with every tick (until meltdown, of course); experimental components for heat reduction, capacitors, etc (w/percent chance of random failure...since it's experimental??; components to control the reaction (in gameplay this might be a means to reduce heat produced by each fuel per tick, possibly also sacrificing some power production?).
Just some thoughts I had for the developer, take them or leave them. Good game regardless 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the last prestige update ....... what to say...... it messed up the game. seriously the balance between upgrade and cost are so inbalanced now that its not even worth playing now. fix it pls =)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This reactor is obviously not regulated by any governing body. I'm hoping it's not located on planet earth. Between the near apocalyptic levels of heat generated and spewed into the atmosphere (presumably) and the ridiculous number of catastrophic meltdowns I have incurred whilst experiment, the surrounding area up to at least 150 miles is completely uninhabitable. This reactor is the sole cause for global warming. You're welcome. ;)

http://puu.sh/fP2jh.png cause of the botched update i can only have one cell in there now and i produce too much power -.- gg cael
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A feature that tells you how much of a heat sink's capacity is being used would be very useful. When a heatsink is empty and uses only part of its capacity each tick, it can be hard to gauge how close to capacity it is.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could we perhaps get a new prestige upgrade that allows us to expand our basic reactor power and heat values? Seeing as i get upgrades fairly quickly now, i am afraid i will blow up one day just from building a first uranium cell. Heat builds up quite fast now with all those cheap upgrades.
