Dear Dev, everyday up to 10 players asking how to get exotic particles. Maybe you can add a little description to the "options" section so everyone can read it there, since not everyone is reading the whole update section when he starts the game as a new player. Just a suggestion. Oh and pls fix that bug that make your reactor explode if you don't use platings but there's absolutley enough cooling power. Killed my reactor 3 of 5 Times.

My game won't let me prestige. I see the button, but there isn't a rollover animation and nothing happens when I click it. Any idea what might be wrong?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have to say the updates are both surprising and it is definitely nice to see you care about your game still so thanks for putting up with some of our negativity and trying to better your game.

Those prestigue upgrade are insanely expensive. 500 to 5000 to 500k. It took me a couple of days just to get 5k and this game doesn't run while away so that's like asking us to keep running this game in the background for a year or more just to get an upgrade. Adjusting the scaling on the EP gain or the cost of those upgrades will go a long way towards keeping players interested.

I built a reactor that can effectively run hot idle. It has a heat dissipation of 1 per tick, and the max heat is 178t, so it would take 705,000 years of play time to run down at my current 8 ticks per second. It's not the most powerful, though, it currently only generates 1.38t power /tick.

WARNING: If unity player crashes while the game is running, you can lose ALL progress in what is essentially an involuntary "hard reset." Just went from my first protium reactor back to square one.

Ok I was supposed to get prestige on next reset, now I'm just back to the begining without prestige... new bug from old user?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I believe I just found a bug. I built a reactor capable of dissipating 16.5 trillion heat per tick, but if I place a single uranium cell, the heat builds up to 97 before being dissipated. I imagine this is related to truncating and could be the reason why reactors sometimes don't work without at least one reactor plating.

I'm really bummed out... the prestige button wasn't doing anything when i pressed it so i tried the reset button thinking that was the new way to do it... and lost all of my work for the last week or so :(

Could you make it so that the buttons don't look shiney in the background? It's kind of hard to read the words on the buttons.

Is it possible to beg for the implementation of what is found in any RL nuclear plant : an emergency stop button ? (Spacebar would be a wise idea)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It might be an idea to add a prestige upgrade that grants the player some money after restart, since working your way up from uranium gets tedious after the first couple of times, just stamping out the same old reactor designs to make money.

It would be nice to at least have the option to put the vents on the same page as the cells so we don't need to flip between them so frequently.

A Liquid Coolent, which could lower the heat output of a cell would be nice. Kinda of like a cooling version of the neutron reflector.

Why not let keep upgrade lvls after prestige reset for a change. Wouldn't it be less frustrating? You pretty much hit like a brick wall at Qi zone since your capacitors can't sell power quick enough and you have to limit your production which slows down overall progress and manuall selling is not an option because even 150 capacitors at 23 upgrade lvl hold only like 6 ticks of power and next upgrade is 11Qi which at current version max production of 50T per tick will take a full day and 100% gain in capacity ta that lvl is actually more like 5% overall increase which in my opinion scales really bad with price. It becomes miniscule gain for a colosal price. We may be looking at the need of a new component dedicated to selling power, or better means of storing energy to bring back sense to manual clicking. I love this game and know it is still in progress, that is why i hope for such things to be considered and rebalanced for a latter game stages.

The optimum endgame build. It delivers a bit more than 20 T heat and a decent 54 T power while idling. http://i.imgur.com/G6iCaYF.jpg Yeah, nefastium seems to be the best stuff for the heat farming at endgame.

i dont know if im just not doing anything right or what but every time i upgrade "improved: heatsinks" nothing happens. even when i take everything off the board and specifically plating nothing changes with the vents.

both in exotic paticle upgrades and normal upgrades there is a rather sharp cutoff after wich upgrading one level of one part takes days even with the most efficient design. it is at this point this otherwise good game starts to loose its appeal. the EP upgrades once above 1K start to be rediculous in price. also the protium is useless unless you want to give your designconstant attention. maybe an (expensive) Ep upgrade to make that one also replace after its used up.

With inlet builds your reactor now needs to be able to hold more heat than you are producing otherwise it will overheat and meltdown. However I have found a bug where if you have your inlet system set up with sufficient plating and cooling, you can pause the game and remove all of the plating and when you unpause the build will remain stable until the reactor heat is updated, either via addition or removal of power cells, inlets or outlets.

@Kohlenstoff i had that problem, too; blew up my reactor several times an did some tests afterwards. until now, my reactor is fine with only one plating; there seems to be only a small percentage of your heat production needed for buffering. i tried it with pause/play, placing new cells at the same time and placing them one after another - no trouble yet.

Of course, that's if you try to do it all in one run. If you space it out, you only need to get 5 runs of 1k EP, or 10 runs of 500 EP, etc

I know I would personally like to see an option to add a perpetual reflectors to the game, so the designs that rely upon them can go continually without need for player interference every few minutes to hours.

For those of us trying to math out how much power/heat we have to take care of to earn 5k EP, it's 12,502,500 Qadrillion, or about 12.5 Sextillion (since we start the triangular progression at 1 Quadrillion).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hey, could you maybe add some upgrades for cells that make them go faster (they have less durability but more power and heat gen) I know that improved chronometers already does this, but I was thinking of individual cell types, just an idea (also, maybe make improved chronometers have some kind of slider to slow down time for system testing purposes)

Maybe instead of exchangers dispersing heat among itself and adjacent parts, they could detect paths to vents first, and put as much heat in them as the vents can remove per tick, and then direct towards any inlets, then start storing heat in themselves. I dunno if this is possible, but I'd like my exchangers being a little smarter than "I'm gonna put heat into all the things!"
Also, maybe we could see how much our vents are getting per tick?
