Under rating threshold (show) I have a suggestion about the coolant cells. They are quite useful in some builds, but they don't scale very much after prestiges. I mean if you have like 5x Unleashed Fuel Cells, they will become 5x less effective (since the heat production of fuel cells will increase). If there would be an upgrade for that it would make coolant cells more interesting and maybe you could find new builds that uses them? The upgrade could be something simple like a base storage increase by 200-250% per level or something. Again, just a suggestion.

Under rating threshold (show) I think it would be pretty cool if you could purchase grid extensions, or more grid fields. It would be truly intensive, but I think it would be really neat if a certain research path ultimately led to the grid redesigning itself as hexes or octagons--allowing for more adjacency combos.

Under rating threshold (show) @TylerL45 - It appears to have a sweet spot in the middle of it all, at around 10 levels of heat production upgrade. Too low and you won't get any EPs at all; too high and you've got better things to do; just right and you'll get an hour's worth of EPs in a couple seconds.

Under rating threshold (show) I am back again to correct one of my previous comments. I typed that double protium cells generate ~4x as much heat as quad nefastium which was correct but in the parenthesis I said a little less than 4x when I meant to say a little more than 4x the heat. Important distinction to make. Sorry for the wall of text comments but I do tend to ramble some. Again, thanks for a fun game and I look forward to future updates.

Under rating threshold (show) Nice game and the new updates are awesome. Some hotkeys would be nice. For example 1-9 for each line, if you press the number you get to the line with the same quality and circle to next quality if you press the same number again. And maybe q w e r for the tabs.

Under rating threshold (show) And as I had another comment to my already cumbersome amount it becomes increasingly apparent that there really needs to be a way to edit comments after you post them. Allowing a perpetual protium upgrade would still cause exotic particle generation to significantly increase even if they are generated based off the lower of heat and power due to the enormous amount of heat the protium cells generate. The double protium cells generate ~4x (a little less than 4x but rather close nonetheless) as much heat as the quad nefastium cells. This realization actually makes not having a perpetual protium or even an upgrade to increase the number of ticks a protium cell can handle before becoming depleted not desirable. Leaving the protium cells as they are makes them a significant bonus for those who do not idle for long at all while playing the game. If you want the power of the protium cells you have to sit there.

Feb. 17, 2015

Under rating threshold (show) Actually, in regards to my third suggestion, there shouldn't be any issues with exotic particle generation if they are decided by the lower of your power generated and your heat dissipated as I believe they are. All it should do (provided I'm not missing something here) if you add a perpetual protium upgrade is make the protium cells already quite ridiculous power generation for what you can ever hope to sell per tick even more ridiculous as you could go away for an hour and come back to incredibly high power generation that is essentially quite meaningless.

Feb. 17, 2015

Under rating threshold (show) and in continuation of my previous comment, stopped dead in its tracks due to 1000 character limit to comments we have my third suggestion. 3) A perpetual protium upgrade, whether it be by a prestige upgrade or a normal upgrade or, at the very least, an upgrade to increase the amount of ticks the protium cells have before they become depleted. I, personally, am leaning towards the latter as by the very design of the protium cells including a perpetual protium upgrade will very likely cause major issues in terms of balancing exotic particle generation. With this said, the current limit to the number of ticks entirely prevents any appreciable amount of idling from occurring if you plan on using them. I would love to be able actually walk away from the computer for 10 minutes without having all protium cells be depleted when I return. Again, a great game so far, but just needs a few things to make it even better. I look forward to your future updates to Reactor Incremental.

Under rating threshold (show) Really cool game and certainly pretty fun. I just have a few suggestions. A few have already been mentioned but for the sake of emphasis I will reiterate them. 1) A way to sell entire rows and/or columns would be excellent. Perhaps even a way to sell everything at once. Also the same thing except with placing would be greatly appreciated. 2) A way to downgrade upgrades. At the very least I would love to be able to do this for the prestige upgrades. Unleashed fuel cells can get pretty crazy pretty fast if you don't pay close enough attention to how many times you've upgraded it in comparison to your fluid hyperdynamics. Early on I accidentally upgraded unleashed one time more than I meant to and it took awhile for me to build up enough particles to upgrade fluid enough to compensate.

Feb. 17, 2015

Under rating threshold (show) @Talanic - I had to try your suggestion, just because it sounded fun. I cleared my reactor, paused, and filled it with Quad Protiums. Unpause = Boom = 200 EP. Then, I set up my normal reactor, 1 Quad Protium, and watched as it earned 2,000 EP before fading. Guess your trick only works when you aren't in the hundreds of thousands of EP's :-P

Under rating threshold (show) i really enjoy the game but one thing i would like is that if maybe you could add a cooling cell exotic particle upgrade. the cooling cells become irrelevant once i hit protium cells. my heat exchangers transfer more heat per tick than my cooling cells can carry. an extreme capacity cooling cell could be really useful in some builds and it is the only part that does not have an exotic upgrade

Under rating threshold (show) Would anyone be able to help me with the logic/coding in this game? If I have something pulls 1m heat out of the reactor, something that transfers 1m heat and something that vents 1m heat; then why does this system blow-up if your reactor has a lot of heat in it? At most it can draw 1m heat out of the reactor and this can be vented...

Under rating threshold (show) Step one: Get a lot of money. Not too hard. Step 2: Clear the grid and pause the game. Step 3: Fill the grid with Quad Protium Cells, note your current prestige, then unpause. Step 4: After the earth-shattering Kaboom, check your prestige again. It's lucrative, but I feel like a supervillain.

Under rating threshold (show) @juuseri: I guess you do something wrong while prestiging. After every prestige you buy 1. an Uranium rod 2. a Vent 3. a Capacitor. The remaining imbalances can be removed by choosing the right prestige points. If you cannot sell enough but want sell more you should upgrade capacitors more. If you want a complete balanced game, read my last comment where i described best prestige combination for optimum balance.

Under rating threshold (show) Problem: The game is bottlenecked by selling-speed very fast after getting some prestige upgrades. Fix: Make power-selling upgrades cheaper / more effective or make capacitors / capacitor upgrades more effective.

Under rating threshold (show) Ok, serious issue here, I have advanced in the game to the point where I make so much more power than what can be harvested its insane. There needs to be a large power capacity. I am having no problem managing heat ext ect but my protium cells are advanced to the point of making over 100 QA a tick. with most of the board capacitors I cant harvest even half of it....

Under rating threshold (show) Suggestion: Provide a better way to clear out large chunks of your reactor. Drag-n-select or something. Right-clicking each box is a huge pain every time I go to upgrade my layout. I've found myself just blowing it all up to start over.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm not sure I understand the heat formulas, since the tutorial describes but does not show it. (it's quadratic? that's great! But what does that actually mean) And can we get a display of the current heat out per tick? I'm having the most difficult time figuring that out.

Under rating threshold (show) @franciscraven "shift" + "Left Click" does work with power cells, with a caveat: It only works with cells of the same type. That is, you can only upgrade all single/double uranium to double/quad uranium, single/double plutonium to double/quad plutonium, single/double thorium to double/quad thorium, etc. Cheers!
