For a game that wasn't even meant to be played just a few days ago, it certainly seems in great shape. Good art on the objects, nice little explosions when they overheat, lot of upgrades, etc. Coding must have been a nightmare.
Nice work. Most people's first games look and play a hell of a lot worse than this.
To be fair, the game was playable, just totally untested. Needless to say, I got a frighteningly large amount of feedback that's allowed me to rapidly tune Reactor Incremental into something apparently deserving of just about 25 thousand plays. I'm incredibly thankful for everyone who took the time to leave a message for me!

Probably because I like to know what's going on with my parts, it might be nice to show exact heat values when hovering over parts in the reactor

Good idea. Say No_boring_when_reactor_going_to_blow. Several dolorium cells, 8 ultimate capacitors and platings everywhere(vents and exchange are ineffective). Game need more heat balance and it can make a bankrupt after boom. 4.8/5

If you place 5 uranium cells in a diagonal hex such that no cell is adjacent to another, it still generates heat even when the heat tab says "-3 per tick" Reason?
I fully acknowledge that this game was inspired by IndustrialCraft. I really hope the creators don't think that I've stolen it, and see it instead as an homage.

I certainly enjoy this game quite a bit! It takes the reactor setup portion of industrialcraft and scales it up into its own game, and from the first build to now its already improved quite a bit. As a result of my enjoyment of the gameplay, you can have my 5/5 and assurances that i will be watching this game intently to see how it grows.

The Plating units (heat increase) need to be built, i've had plenty of times where i would make a mistake and boom everything gone then i started using PRP , RPR, PRP layout and the huge heat amount allows me to stop stuff / sell stuff before everything goes booms

your game is good but you could add something like a temporal upgrade that gives you all your money back in case of an explosion ,since my reactors epxloded because of a mistake i got bored of the game to start again

ok this game is weird cells and components expllode on its own and there isnt a clear explanation in the game instructions

Think the math is off a bit.... I had -4,700 heat ticks so I went to place 2 more quad uranium cores and then it went up to +12k heat ticks and I lost all my stuff

I may have found a bug, It would seem as though my plutonium tick length upgrade no longer has any affect, it was at level 3 when I closed the browser, re-opened the game, played it, noticed the issue, and then posted this comment. heh.

This game makes me feel good when i make a complex reactor. And then it makes me feel like idiot when i come back to see everything blow up

Can you make it so that we can sell the fuel rod? like lets say ctrl+ right click, because i've died a few times because i accidentally connected 2 fuel rods together and didn't have enough time to place more heat vent.

That moment when i have all tier 2 and then a fail explodes and instantly all my progress, 2/5 when this game have a save button i will play again and vote 4/5

Not fond that this game has failing conditions. A simple spending misstep and I was unable to continue playing. I will refrain from rating for now but not fond of that aspect.
This might be a bug. You can sell components, and even if you're totally out of money, you can click 'Scrounge for cash' to get enough buy a uranium cell. At least, that's the intended behavior.

Needs offline or speed-up mode BADLY. With a few upgrades, plutonium rods last 30+ minutes and thorium last over an hour. Once you reach a certain point, you are unable to increase your income until your rods blow up, and that can take hours of waiting. The total cost of my rods on the board = 1/3rd of my income per second...too bad I'll be waiting for another ~40 minutes before I can place different ones...this is a good game, just needs fine tuning.

i really need a way to get rid of a power cell, do you think you can add a destroy click so i can get rid a power cell i dont want
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I bought the potent uranium upgrade while I had uranium on the board. Now, after it's burned out, I have -1 power per tick.

Why does heat disperse over time ONLY after a meltdown? If I have nothing on the field, shouldn't it disperse regardless?

suggestion skit thing (not hating, just sayin...): "hey, i think I've gotten pretty good (says the one at single plutonium cells), now, to get the next cooling-WHOA LOOK AT THAT PRICE CURVE!!!!that really needs to be changed, 500 to FIFTY GRAND!?!?!?!?just to add another 0 to the end of the max heat storage in the thing...? (end of skit) so, yea, that's what i have to say there, there's a few other massive curves in price, such as, from 6k quad plutoniums, to 100K SINGLE THORIUMS, but, that's what i think, good concept, great for alpha/early beta, but changes need to be made..." wise words from a wise (not really) gamer... :P

I'd like to be able to mouseover the components to see their current heat, also the ability to stop/start the reactor so I don't have to frantically place my rods in between ticks for optimal use.

So it seems that if you don't have enough capacity for the first pulse of heat from a component even if you have enough cooling, you die. Order of operations appears to be add heat then remove it with cooling. Keep this in mind when building stuff as it sucks when you spend 45 minutes putting shit together to just have it pop.

Really like the concept of the game. At first it is counter intuitive, but once I started realizing the value of the upgrades, the game relaxed and I was able to start plotting my long term strategy.

The negative power per tick means that that amount is being sold automatically. Of course you need to generate power in order to sell anything.

Perhaps the manual venting increase should also make fans more effective? That would make buying them worthwhile later into the game. Also, I'm sure you already probably thought of this, but perhaps make the tooltip thing at the top function for things in the reactor so you can see the individual status of the items (such as current heat and power output for cores) in there instead of having to do number crunching to figure out whether you can afford a new thing in that one spot you have open. As stated in one of the other posts, a single cooling plate is nearly ten times as effective as its same tier fan, for an incredibly reduced price at that.
In any case, I really would like to see this get some fine tuning. It's pretty fun to try to get everything going. Been playing the last three days now. Will play a lot more if a few more things get tweaked. Keep it up!

Maybe a upgrade for fuel cell's to burn faster? that would remove the start phase faster and also maybe starting with a 3x3 reactor and having a upgrade to make it bigger would be cool.
Great game really love the pixel art and mechanics (even thou I don't compleatly understand them) 5/5

I am a little lost as to how the double and quad cores multiply with each other. The singles are pretty easy to understand.
1 x 2 = 2x power per core, 4x heat per core. Total - 4x power, 8x heat.
But maybe I'm missing something. My thorium quads say they produce 9k heat per core, seaborgium singles are listed as 6.94k per. So why does 4x4 seaborgium singles put out more heat than the thorium quads? It seems to me that it should be less.
