@skultech you can sell by right clicking on an item (apart from cells, which need to go boom on their own).
@carnidwarf The plating is way more efficient than the vent+exchanger setup, especially once you start upgrading the auto venting

To be honest atm this game is only mediocre because of 1 single fact and that is the fact that there is no sell or replace option. This way to replace old stuff you have to actually let your reactor overload, thus losing a lot of money. Until this option is not implemented this game will never get beyond mediocre status.

Would it be possible to add a "sell all" (apart from cells) button ? This would be extremely useful when wanting to change the layout of everything. Because if I manually sell my plating one by one, heat goes up and pretty much everything blows up and I end up with hardly any money. A sell all button would allow us to get the money back from the installation and use it to rebuild.

You can remove items you have placed by "right" clicking.
I really like the concept for this game, one of the few original thoughts I have seen. I cannot wait to see how this continues to progress. I hope you keep working on it.

The bug where it places instead of removing.....
I use a mac so to fingers on the pad and click, and it removes the item, but then places the one i use last. And it have happend so many times that it places a reactor and "BOOM" everything gone...

Please fix the per tick heat count, it doesn't work at all. I'm at -50 heat per tick and produce about 500 heat per tick instead.

Awww snap :( After the cell and power/heat update, as soon as I loaded yesterday's save heat went way up and ka-boooom! Lol, Good thing I still have 31 Mil $ to start over nicely :) Thanks for all your work on updating the game, we all appreciate it. Gonna go test the new version now.

Sell/remove piece function. As it is the only way to upgrade existing schematics is to let it blow up and redo everything, or directly overheat specific bits which also has it's risks
Right-clicking will sell anything except for a fuel cell. Does that not work for you? If not, I can't imagine this matters, but, what browser are you using?

Apparently this game is still waiting for updates, but I'm wondering what the point of the Heat Exchanger is? As I see it, I would use it to transfer heat between Coolant Cells and, once my plutonium cell dies, transfer the heat stored in the coolant cells back to the heat vent to safely evacuate it, so that I don't always have to buy coolant cells again.
I also noticed that the basic heat exchanger actually generates heat when it's not in use?
The heat exchanger will balance its heat with the reactor, which may cause it to appear as though it's generating heat. It's really just moving it around.

What is the point of neutron reflectors? If they only reflect pulses to adjacent fuel cells, why would I ever buy one instead of a quad uranium cell?
I actually set it up such that if you have nothing in your grid, and less than $10, you can 'scrounge for cash' until you have enough to buy another uranium cell. No more hopeless scenarios! (You might have to refresh to see this.)

So it seems to me that if I refresh the page to check for new versions some cell durability upgrades seem to be bugged; I have a bunch of upgrades and I have some single cells which haven't lost a single pixel from its health while if I put additional single cells they disapepar in a few seconds as if they had no upgrades.
Also, since the 1% heat venting upgrades are venting the maximum heat capacity, stacking heat plating modules pretty much eliminates all the heat issues, in fact you don't need to use any vents, exchangers and coolants. I think it's too overpowered.
And it'd nice if upon refreshing the game into a new version all of our cells were removed so if there is a nerf to hear plating or similar, we won't get blown up instantly.

ok, whatever you did in the last update rly scewed things up... i had everything running for aver half an hour w/o any changes and after reloading everthing blows up thanks to overheating?! O.o

Really needs a confirmation on the reset game, several times I've gone into the upgrade menu and instinctively clicked it thinking it was a back button. Pretty fun game but I haven't been able to get far along because of this.

Resetting after upgrading has the side effect of keeping the effects until reloading. Thus if I upgrade the duration of Uranium starting out it can last as long as the upgrade expects with free cooling.

mid game heat vent is trash, 500k for a 200 heat/tick, while the heat sink with 1 upgrade does 1000, and 3000 for 3 upgrades, that's a 2 for 15 super sale, not to mention it also contains heat

Need to do something about being able to sell a reflector before it gets destroyed for full price. You can just buy and sell them for free profit.

Is it possible to get an Emergency vent button for when your reactor is destroyed?
My experience is 1M+ heat and only a 1K per click manual vent
Not quite a bug. It reduces the heat of the reactor by 2, and of itself by 2, so it has a potential of reducing the overall heat of the system by 4. Granted, this doesn't make things totally obvious to the player, so something should probably be changed.

Another issue, I think. Uhm, after getting some upgrades that automatically removes heat by a certain % per tick based on max heat allowed. After that it becomes much more efficient to buy Reactor Platings than anything else really. I mean 1M cash for 100K more heat. With 3 upgrades in heatsink. Means 3K heat is being removed every tick. Heat Vents can't compete with that. It takes 500K cash, 1 spot on the field just to remove 200 heat with heat vents. Or am I missing something?

Latest update: The quad uranium cell appears to have the wrong lifespan. It might be that the quads aren't getting their lifetime scaling from tech upgrades.

I just refreshed, and it completely destroyed the build I had. :( Changing the system or numbers can really hurt the gameplay.
I like the game tho. Kinda reminds me of of a minecraft mod, with nuclear reactors. Had to place uranium and coolant cells a certain way to make it work the best.
Sorry! I completely didn't think of what impact the balance changes would have on existing solutions.
And yes, this game is very heavily inspired by IndustrialCraft.

Shame that the game layout messes up whenever viewed at anything but 100% zoom. I work with 110% zoom to be able to read text, and the layout is completely bugged, text in the wrong place, grid deforms, placements are incorrect.

@Ender Not really sure. You'd need to calculate that, but what I do is always try to upgrade the cell power output before moving on to it (for example, upgrade plutonium cells to output 30 instead of 10, and then start using them).
