Heat vents' maximum heat should proportionally increase along with their ability to lower heat. You should never have a situation where your vents are more than up to the task of venting the heat, but they immediately explode because their heat capacity is insufficient.

Since Vents don't remove heat from reactor anymore, any build using just Vents can just fill up the Reactor with heat, and stop when its full. The heat wont go anywhere, and you will have a permanent Power bonus.

A quad thorium cell says it produces 9k heat, the seaborgium single says it does 6.94k heat. So why does the seaborgium heat everything up faster than the quad thorium?

I love the pacing of this game. I am currently running a t6 reactor with your newest build as shown here:http://imgur.com/KrSzvHB and I have a suggestion that I think people would like and agree with and I personally would love to see in your game to create an even better build. I would like to see reflectors (and only them) have an omnidirectional influence. basically I would like to see them affect every cell in range in 8 directions. it would fit into so many builds and allow many builds to remain stable without sacrificing cooling vents or units. if you read this, thank you very much for at least considering the idea ^.^

Maybe in the next update we should be able to tell the Heat Exchanges to give, take or equal out to adjacent heat vents

Unless I'm really missing something, you simply cannot use double or quad nefastium:
Heat Exchangers can exchange max 1.5m heat when adjacent to a fuel cell. So with heat exchange you can cool at best 6m/tick (assuming you have a place to exchange to)
Passive exchange through the reactor is also limited to heat exchange, so that's already not an option for 24m heat of double nefarium (=200 heat exchangers...really XD)
And last Heat Vents, with the best cooling capacity (especially if you upgrade using shields) can maybe get you to 4 or 5m per vent, which still is not enough for double nefarium 23+m heat.
At best you can get single nefarium going, I got up to 550M-ish power/tick Auto-sold. For double or quad, you just don't provide enough upgrade options

I have a full screen of Quad Thorium Cells (9k heat), runs fine. If i fill the space with Seaborgium Cells (6.94k heat) my reactor melts... how can this be? Could you clarify the heat generation for stacked cells without spaces?

There really needs to be some way to pause the ticks, or at least slow them. You can easily melt down from simple completely fixable mistakes just because you don't have enough time. Even lowering the ticks/sec back to 1 would help a lot.

I think the new line of upgrades are a bit buggy, not that I mind. They work even if there are no feul cells of that type in the reactor.

For easy "start over" just hold ctrl while right clicking the buildings to sell all of that type. Good advise: start with the Cells first to prevent awesome fireworks from happening ;)

I need some componants that conver power to money...
my total power capacity is about 12B. and auto converting rate is 710M$ per tick.
I have been used 185 capacitor that is full upgraded and highest tier.
I have to convert power to money manually if I want to earn more money per tick.

289.35M(284.16M)/Tick, use 25 Nefastium cells, no free space left. Waiting 50T for last capacitor update. Still need higher vent and capacitor.

One big thing I'd love is a way to send heat in a specific direction. At the higher tiers there's just way too much heat to use fans anymore, and destroying ice packs is repetitive, it'd be nice to be able to deliberately concentrate the heat (and then obviously destroy cooling packs or other devices).
A way to see how much heat is travelling in what directions would be nice as well, but that might be harder to make.

Really to have the whole heat exchangers/reactor/vents thing working properly you should just read some basic thermodynamics. The way it works now is NOT how it works IRL and that's why it seems odd.

The newest patch seems to be bugged. With a Single Nefastium Cell (2.893 Mil heat) surrounded by 4 x Coolant cell (Taking 723,25K each), linked into 2 heat exchangers each (925,92K of exchange) linked into fans that have more than enough ventilation, it just causes the coolant cells to rapidly fill up when the setup should be able to take care of all the heat.

I think an indication of how much heat vent is taking in the heat would be a good idea. I am not sure if my vents far end is being efficient or not. This feature could take away more performance though.

So i have been trying to make one quad nefastium cell work for couple of hour now and best thing I've come up with is :

And still i don't like it because coolants in the middle are still filling up and i think that there is no more efficient way to remove heat from them then i did so is it impossible to run best cell without repurchasing coolants manually or am I missing something?

Need a function to either allow us to replace partially used neuron reflectors or automatically replaces them when they go out as they are more quickly used up with quad cell setups and the increased tick rate upgrades.

Almost independent idle reactor. almost fully automatic. Over 50M energy per click (all auto selled). Only thing is that every 10 mins or something ilke that, you have to replace the refractors. No heat generated.

I'm encountering a bug where after building a certain amount of capacitors, or after building one super capacitor, my power per tick resets to 0

I seem to have tapped out at ~393M per tick.
A major limiting factor is the capacitance and resulting auto-sell of power. 2/3 of my reactor space is Ultimate Capacitor. :(
I don't have all the upgrades yet, so I can go a little higher, but I begin to suspect that there is a hard limit somewhere around 1B per tick.

"Start-over" button would be nice. I mean to "wipe-out" entire field and build new reactor with all upgrades without reseting whole game.

This is a really cool game. It would be nice though if I could get a tooltip when I hover over fuel cells to see how much power they are producing as a result of being near others, rather than having to math.

Quick suggestion: Update the heat/power info on MO for adjacent fuel cells. Can be confusing to keep track of how much heat any configuration is producing at a time, especially when sharing vents.

Ignoring Coolants, the maximum power production seems to be about 340M/tick ~2.4B/s
Enormously bottlenecked by the heat at higher production, I'm currently at Quad Dolorium where it's gotten quite slow... But I'm just stubborn about not liking coolants!

Neutron reflectors would be more useful if there were upgrades for them that made them more heat-efficient. As it is, I don't really see the point of them.

Kainic, that's not weird. It's one of the upgrades that you can purchase. It's near the bottom, on the left side of the upgrades chart. Better types of plating increase the vent rates more than weaker plating.

@joker3681 there is one big problem with that setup, there is no way to put enough capacitors to sell your energy. judging by how much your single cell is outputting, you will end up with 350-ish million per tick. 2 options that i see are to use fewer cells and more capacitors or click the sell button a ton
