Waaaaaaaaaay to difficult, even on the easiest setting. You get far to much thrown at you, to soon, and as soon as they start coming, it's none stop. Very poorly designed.

No, I figured it out. Apparently this game isn't working with firefox and possibly other web browsers for some reason. I'm using chrome right now and it's working again :)

Crankoy, yes it is just you. My way of doing things is mine and mine, blow up them stupid pirates, and pause time when I need to.

Some type of target selection like o ngemcraft on missle lauchers would be great rather than having to replay a mission because they all target swarmers on the opposite side of the map instead of the 16 motherships firing on the base.

Glad to see the sequel. Hard is difficult enough, not even going to try for the impossible badge. The only issue I have is that another repetition badge you have to play the game 4 different times.

the game wont load for me, it says setup has failed, loader bypassed. ive never had this issue before with other games, so im not sure if its a game error or not.

To those struggling on normal/easy survival missions: UPGRADING THE MISSILE LAUNCHERS IS KEY TO WINNING. Like if it worked for you.

hmm... i'd like to know why maxed out missile launchers fail to launch, even with 5 solar stations and 2 full energy stores to power them

It just occurred to me that this game's economics make no sense. You are sent to manage a space mine. Building structures to support this mining operation requires use of some of the minerals you mine. So why are you evaluated based on the gross amount of minerals you mine? Shouldn't your boss care about the net?

Ah.. I love the defence missions. after around 70% completion you start to have waves of 15 ships spammed at you every 3 seconds, thats what i call fun! At least on normal mode anyway..

Yeah... This would have a 5/5 if I could order my THELs and missiles to target capital ships only. But the fact that it's missing & adds a ton of frustration at the same time makes it a 3/5.

It's kinda freaky. I used to suck at this game, but now I'm just pounding through the crazy levels, and I'm not sure what I'm doing differently.

The keys to success:
1) Be quick. Never stop improving, idle time is wasted time.
2) Be generous with the miners. Clean out meteor clusters quickely and move on.
3) Missle Launchers are expensive, but will significantly reduce the threat of ALL enemies.

@Cyborg127 THELs, under normal circumstances are indeed useless, however, if spaced from the main base in special levels like the giant mining rig, they can take out motherships long before they make it in range, which can be invaluable on hard/insane.

You know, it's really frustrating when I'm trying to defend a station or whatever, and motherships come in, and I build a missile platform and upgrade it and by the time the mothership gets there it's got plenty of energy and minerals behind it... And the missile platform just sits there. Uselessly. It does not fire. It lets the motherships tear everything apart. This is not fair!

my strategy:2 energy gens,2 level 2 capacitors,1-2 repair stations,bunch of thels and turrets mounted near miners and other stuff

needs a large map instead of these mission, a large randomly generated map with differing objects, and maybe a backstory and the ability to build ships, and attack pirate bases, as well as upgrades that appear as reasearch that transcends games, as well as perchance more building types and enemys

When you come in contact with a enemy mothership, make sure you save up for a spare turret or something so that you can buy it and use it to distract the mothership without even placing it down. She shouldn't be able to destroy the turret (or whatever) unless you place it down - thus allowing your turrets to fire unharmed. (Works in many games.)

When you come in contact with a enemy mothership, make sure you have a spare laser turret or something so that you can pick it up and use it to distract the mothership as she targets it - thus allowing your turrets to fire unharmed.

Anyone have an idea why I can't get this game to load? I've tried on a PC running Firefox and a Mac running Opera and Safari. Every time it tells me setup failed, loader bypassed. I've already tried turning cookies on and off.
I need this badge for the Best of award.

So I am still trying to figure out why this federation is trying to mine these asteroids when all the resources taken from the asteroids goes into defending the asteroids they're mining...

"Setup has failed: Unable to load config" WTF? Game doesn't load at all. Same with the older version of "The Space Game". Can anybody fix these please??
