IMO, the side missions are easier than the others. You get the cash up front and just have to build. Become good friends with the pause button. I'm still working on crazy badge and running into issues with the last 3 missions.

I think "normal" is a little too steep for what a casual gamer expects. Otherwise I really like this game. The mechanics aren't polished as much as a Blizzard game, but very nice work overall, and the UI in particular, considering this is "just" a flash game.

For me, normal is sometime devilishly difficult at times. It usually takes me like 8-14 tries to finish on of the side missions. But "Complete on missions on Crazy"...... O.o

@ ghost34. That was very hard at first for me, but I figured out a strategy. Pause it, then make a crap-load of energy facilities, then ONLY make THEL's. Make a lot! The THEL's should dispose of the motherships quickly, as long as you don't run out of energy.

This game put me off at first because I found it confusing, but as soon as I learned how to play, I was very impressed. Excellent system, nice graphics, great strategics, all around 5/5 game.

The Casual Collective "container" for the game flash is taking up a lot of real estate of my browser, all while just displaying empty space to the right and bottom of the main game (w/ 'more games' and Quality' being a tiny bar at th bottom). Anyone else seeing this issue?

Have beaten 9 missions and can't beat a 10th. All of the rest are too difficult for me to beat (have been trying all day LOL). I give up. Too hard of a Medium badge for me, but 4/5. It's a fun game, and is well done...

loads fine and when you play the hard difficulties its, well hard. Imagine that....
Saves are probably due to a setting in your browser only allowing files to be so big.

the point of my comment is that anyone can make a fake description of a statement that you win a badge (since it's always the same). so don't do it except if it's true and if it's really awesome (easy and med badges doesn't count).

It's best to have several solar stations filling energy stores. So when the hard times come you have several thousand energy stored up.
