I also managed to get stuck outside the petri dish boundaries (out in the black) on the Toxin stage, I think by moving as Jeeves started to say something. I can't move back into the light, but pseudopod ATP costs are still taken :-(
At least I was able to harvest enough fatty acids from the virus attacks to finish the level.
On another note, the camera controls could use some work -- they often bug out and don't move with the arrow keys, or get "stuck" and pan off in one direction without any key being pressed.

I am on the croc level and i cant produce anymore toxins no error message pops up.

This was the best educational game ive ever played, i learnt more from this game than i did in Year 11 Human Biology, and had fun doing it!

Yeah, my Golgi Body bugged out and wouldn't create anything on the Toxin level as well, although my other organelles functioned normally. Maybe you can overflow the production queue?

you know this is like the magic schoolbus. you can learn as much about the subject as learning it in school almost 5/5 fun as it is educational i'm going to fav this cause i want to play it again :) beat ingestion without chloroplast lol. just recycled it :P

This has got to be one of the most annoying things ever. I was enjoying it until I played the alligator level where you have to get a massive amount of stuff. After I spent all that time gathering it the thing bugged and I wouldn't make more toxins. I restarted the level and it did the same thing, so I am giving up on this game unless/until the bugs are fixed. Not sure where the 4/5 rating came from, although I think it seems to be getting more fun as the levels progress.

Really good game, very educational, really well put together. Also, like all these other people here, I wish i had this for my biology exams :(.

HA! "This game was made possible by a grant from the Digital Media & Learning Competition." -> "Hmm... tell you what, Supreme Planetary Overlord, we don't have any ideas right now... But if you give us a RIDICULOUS amount of grant money, we'll figure something out."
If funding is the common thread that finds solutions to a given problem (often true), then realistically tying in planetary destruction to the storyline makes me wonder how we'd fare. Science funding seems self-destructively low in the US. (We'd probably wind up sending Jeeves, or a plagiarized version of him on another adventure from area 51...)

Lvl 5 is glitched. If you make a third chloroplast you dont have a single NA left. Your screwed if you dont have enough Lsyosomes to recycle it. Why cant you recycle ribosomes?

5/5 Absolutely epic. I love this not only because I'm a gamer, but also b/c I'm a biologist XD. The best part is you got to teach basic biology while still keeping it light and fun. Great job =). It would be cool though if you threw mitosis in there to make more cells clones so it goes from micro scale to a macro scale. After you make enough cells you can make eukaryotic platypus's and through meiosis in there and have the player keep the platypus's alive in a defense kinda game with weapons etc. lol. Cheers man. BTW for the toxin level just chill out and collect about 50-60 Fatty acids. Then just spam the shit out of the toxin button (50 times) and keep 10 ish FA for keeping your cell alive while the toxins spawn. I beat it easily by building 50% defensins, 14 lysosomes, and spammed 30 splicers before i started making toxins. =D

if this game doesn't make it into the school system biology class... well they don't know how to teach... this is one of the best way to explain the cell system, way better then starting to memorize what each part does, this is alot easyer to take in, and alot more understandable then theory about the "cell body"...

Love the game, last level I suddenly became unable to build anything though so I probably won't finish it 5/5 anyway, good luck getting it fixed.

thanks i really enjoyed this game... i like biology but im not good at english for this kind of learning... some i understood though, it was still fun to play

I can see how this game can be fun way to learn about biology. But if could use a skip learning button. There are many of us out there that already know this information. If I ever need a refresher on this though, this will be my first stop.

I didn't remember they said anything about BOTH genders going into the DNA chain... Even if they get cloned they couldn't reproduce... Great game!
