Sometimes morale is lame. I had 3 huscarls, king harold, and a unit of archers left, all with about 250 people left. They had just a unit of archers, and all my troops fled because I had a morale of 1 and they had a morale of 3

Its an AWESOME game! 5/5! But i think i found a bug in the game. In the last fight (Normans vs English) pretty early in the fight (in round 5 i think) some of my knights killed there king but they didnt lose a lot of moral? Is this a bug or what?
Atr i had killed there King i expectet them to fly as soon as we fought in combat but even though i had killed over 400 archers and there were less than 100 left they didnt fly even though they lost there king. Thats odd i think. I was able to win anyway though with captain rank and i killed 5000 of there men and thy killed 3000 of mine so but still!!! I would have gotten King rank if the lose of their king ad affectet them :b (btw it was one hard)
Has anyone experienced the same?
Anyway very nice game!

one of the BEST turn-based strategy games in flash, really great... good history storyline and gameplay elements, one of my top favourites!

This game should have badges! Not that I desperately want one (I've played it anyway - a lot) but it just deserves them. One of my all time favourites.

This game is amzing! It actually takes into account that in real war, the battlefield isn't 1 2-dimensional line, it's 3-dimensional. Only complaint is way too short. Make another!

maybey if you make another mode you might add light infantry- light calvary- crossbowmen- unmountable knights- heavy infantry - seige equipment- and maybey barracades + if you agree :3

mottom12 guess what. It is derived from angle land refering to the anglo-saxons that inhabited the area originally and contibuted much to the origins of the language and cultures of that region

Battlerank: King is way too easy to get! At Hastings, just let 4 knights knock 'em down, and then outflanck the rest! Use 4 knights, and the rest of our points at archers, and take out the archers at the other side!

4/5. The game is great, however with several minor flaws that make me feel as if playing this is just a waste of my time. Easy Mode for Campaign is too easy, so I had to resort to Medium. On Medium, I finished the first two with ease, however I went wtf at the last battle. I had defeated ALL of the English's units, except the General's Unit. It was 2,900 something vs. 500. Then, they start taunting. The cowards hide in the corner, and despite being almost 2,500 men ahead they scared away all of them with taunting. My archers were the last standing in the end as my morale dropped to 1, and by then I knew defeat. They taunted, and then the archers fled. Yes, the men were weak, at around 200 per unit. However I have no idea why men would flee to the sound of "YOU STINKIN' TURD." The taunting is more a full-force morale attack than anything, and works even when I'm far ahead. That was just one example, there are many others.

Also, a strategy for winning would be to make the best of your army's advantages. For instance, the Vikings are best for strength, so you should charge more; the English are best for defence, so you should fortify and form shield walls more, etc.

Ok, wtf? I just tried a campaign on Hard and those Taunts do WAAAAAAAY too much damage to your morale. There were plenty times when I was at least 500 ahead, and then someone said "SVINAFELL TROLL!" and I lost like 10 morale and they gained 5.
