omg i love this game!!! 6/5 however if a second is made (maybe a different historical battle), which should happen, you could make taunt a little better and add a feature where you can play vs. on the same computer. Also, I dont mean to complain, but the campaign was pretty short (then again i guess those were the only battles that happened). Anyone who says its too hard is wrong, because even though its hard, its so fun that it balances out and cant really be too hard. Ya it is a little slow, but its worth it. Please make a second, if you can find another historical event that has 3 or more armies fighting. once again 6/5 possibly the best game to come out in the past 6 months or even year.

Kay since some people complain, maybe they needs few tips: 1st. At beggining first command to execute is fire with archers. Aim by counting those lines on their reach and add 1 to firepower at 45 degrees. 2nd. ALWAYS CHARGE your enemys. from maximum possible distance. 3rd. If your squads are fighting and you have another one behind, pull it back and charge with that one behind. Never had problems with morale this way, not a single squad ran out of battle.

Very interesting. One I'm sure to return to again and again. The slower pace doesn't detract from the excitement and strategy. Surprisingly good-looking too.

Whoever complains at archers... 3rd battle, 2 squads, 1200 kills. +Battle rating: King :P (charging knights kill whole squad in one hit >.>)

This game had a ton going for it, then threw a lot of it down the drain. I loved the concept, but the archers felt useless; I really think their mini-game needs a rethink. Also, just now, I lost through moral, even though I had had a perfect strategic victory, with some 2,500+ men versus a mere 700 remaining men. Moral needs to go, and the taunt; Losing like that is really dumb. 3/5

well put 2gether, but theres a lot screwed up with the combat system... flanking isnt near effective as it should b, and u should b able 2 charge a unit in the same column as u

effefefefd normandy has a lack of courage with soldiers they would run instead of die its a weakness like how vikings cant defend and english have weaker attack

Flag animations are crazy seriously. I completely have no clue how you did that in flash. The game is overall pretty good. Nice graphics, nice gameplay, short but nice.

I've said this before, vut it's epically sad and heartbreaking to see a big battle-scarred Viking running from a Brit who just called him a rump-fed chicke, even though there's two Brits and 300 Vikings.

Roriai you are using the bow wrong ^^, first off you angle the bow by clicking (Do NOT release!) Then adjust the angle to your liking, then pull towards the bottom left corner of the screen and let go ^^

At some point, the AI made its troops charge me, but for some reason they flew over me and kept walking until the end of the screen. And even after that I could still hear them walking. Would be quite the hilarious bug if it did not infuriate me that much to have to restart the whole battle.

I agree with the general consensus that this is a great game, but the mini-games detract from the overall experience. I would add that it is strange that you cannot attack from top or bottom. Also, it makes it hard to utilize the different formations with a field that is five rows high, often with choke points that do not even allow one formation to fit.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but whenever I try to use my archers they don't work. It always says failed shot. I don't know what to do after I do the take aim part and mess with the angle.

the game has an awsome concept, with great artwork and animation to back it up; however, I just can't give a 5/5 to a game with such a glaring flaw. a tattered army of 346 shouldn't be able to insult a league of 2000 warriors into submission. the computer won against me 3 times that way.

Fun, fun game. Its like portal! So amazing, yet short so you never have the feeling of being bored with it! It makes me want a sequal! Please, PLEASE make a sequal! I love history too, so make one fer mongolia/china!

it is an okay game, but it has some historical things wrong, like with the viking archers, they didnt use bows, they used javalins.

-2 for a buggy archery system (the computer seems to be a superhero at it and PC shots that should do damage do none at times).
