One of the best strategy games of all time. The multi-player feature is amazing. No waiting or stalling with it. This game is the definition of strategy game.

love the game but it has only one fault, it does not save and you must remember/write down a code to come back to it later, still a 5/5 though

Oh my this game is amazing even though it is just 3 missions it teaches history and lets you play it the gameplay is amazing i love how you can charge and fortify against a charge i give this game a 5 stars (5/5). thanks for posting.

I think this is an excellent game, reminds me so much of chess; Just hate how the multiplayer doesn't let you talk to the person you're playing with...

Great game, though it looks funny when you get a brutal charge with a small group and when you collide both sets of troops just fall

Wow, This game... Just wow! I love it amazing in every way. Quite fun to play. Though you could show if it is within range for a charge.

As a historian (and now law student), I greatly appreciated this game for its historical purity. It is rare that you find such a perfect combination of entertainment and education. This game is great, from the Battle of Stamford Bridge to the Battle of Hastings, I loved it! 5/5 and faved.

1066, is a brilliant war strategy game. It incorporates the real strategy of a battle with some fun mini games. The developer of this game should develop more game like this. I give 5/5 star for this game. Btw, online battles need to be improved. Keep up the good work!

a grat tactic i have is being the vikings, you buy only one archer and the rest is varangian guards. if you charge at the enemy's battle line, and then retreat (more than 2 squares), only to have a reserve standing behind charging in again. it beats the crap out of even huscarls in a shield wall

absolutely amazing...ive said it before and ill say it again :D just something to remember for the guys making the next game ( whatever it may be about:Romans, crusades etc)...keep its just as simple as this one...its amazingly entertaining and you dont have to be Patton or Rommel to get the hang of it...so remember...keep it simple...the controls and everything.
