is it normal for someone to be stuck on the firing phase for archers, and force the opponet to surrender? Cause my troops moved out of his archer range, and he's just been standing there in "Enemey is preparing to fire" phase for like 5 minutes...

I've always said I liked outnumbered battles...but this game has helped me actually be good at them. For a challenge, try only deploying 15 or 20 points of units.

An excellent example of what a little imagination can do. It makes battle interesting, and makes it fun to play over and over again, each with different forces! I LOVE IT!

The only problems with this game is that the campaign is only 3 battles long and only has 3 nations and maybe make more maps but besides that awsome game. They should make another.

the taunting doesnt really make sense. i was a knight charging at a archer...he told me i was an onion eyed oaf and i ran off...

Sweet game, Its fun to challenge yourself with the fewest soliders you can and still win. Vikings seem to be my favorite though.

I wonder why Kongregate hasn't highlighted this game more? It is well though out and great gameplay, such a good idea to be able to play against real opponents when you feel like it. Seriously deserves a look from greg and definitely some badges. 5 out of 5 from me, thanks for a great game.

I don't know who you are, but I respect your skill with archers. If you read this, your one of the few people who play this that challenge me, and I'm sure you think the same. You had all archers except for 1 warrior, we were both vikings, and I had warriors and 2 special units (forgot the name of). Please add me if you read this man. :)

please make a new game in another era, either american war of indipendance with cannons and guns or a roman campaign with similar weapons.Everyone plz vote 5/5.

We were learning about the dark ages, when this happened, and I knew the answers because of this game. And that's how games are educational.

The morale thing can be really unrealistic you aren't going to surrender to one sword unit when you have five that's just ridiculous that they would surrender

There's no good thing I could say about this game that hasn't already been said. I really think the format of this game, though, is a great basis for a series that could be expanded to SO MANY other historical battles. Intense gameplay and very nice presentation allows the creators to expand off this first game and create a very interesting series.

I tried this game hoping for something along the lines of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy: Tactics. Instead I got a minigame filled flash game that didn't live up to my hopes. Perhaps good in its own way, but not something I want to spend any more time playing. Sorry.

It's well-made, but I wish that the minigames wouldn't of been such a major part of the game, because with minigames it's possible for light infantry to beat heavy infantry, or at least kill most of the heavy infantry. And I also wish that the taunting didn't have such a horrible effect on my men's morale. But overall, very good game.

strangley enough about 3 days ago i watched a 3 part program about 1066 all of these battles where in there.... and i completley think they got it right well done

It is 5/5 alone. ANd it would be 10/5 if it was also a map part. Like warlords, you choose where to fight, and some places are harder then others :D

for the record everyone, this game follows history perfectly. (story campaign) so having a second part wouldnt make since, unless it was for another historical moment in history. Also, i love the narration of this game. good job!

Why is Educational under the tags?...Oh yeah i learned that when you stabs somebody they die :P 5/5 favorited (btw people dont say 100/100, 10000/10000 ect. its just a less simplified form of 1-5/5)
