This game is amazing! I don't know how people can be lukewarm about it. Maybe just different taste I guess. This is the answer to turn based battle strategy that I've been waiting for. Enough units to allow for multi-faceted strategy, interesting level layout forcing strategic thinking. And, I think the theme is very creative and fun. Nice crisp visuals. Sound gets a little repetitive, but still pretty good. The different attacks require different keyboard/mouse actions, which keeps in interesting. I think working out a few bugs, and balancing some of those actions (like the charge is way too easy) would make this even better. But still, 5/5 for strategy, fun, and theme.

The way the taunts work could be improved. I have high words per minute and it seemed to skip the letters I wrote when I did the taunts.

I don't get why people like this game. It is sure polished though. But dance revolution, shoot arrow, type fast and mash the space bar are not fun to me.

I got a bug. When you formed a wall and run toward the enemy, and whichever your guy died, other two keep running out of the map and keep running...

Umm, yeah, it's ok. I mean it could be better but maybe it's my old computer so I'm not even gonna rate this.... All I can say... It took 35 min to do 1 battle. Is my computer that slow?

this game is crap, the moral is all wrong u battle and kill more of their units yet ur morale drops and the enemies doesn't???
ur armies should move in the order u command them to not in some random order and random troops shouldn't just randomley run away, i had my warriors run away after the 1st move!! 1/5

Guide to archers: YOU have to fire them, they don't fire themselves. Select an angle, say, 45 degrees, then look on the map. See the bars? If there's one or two bars not inbetween you and the enemy, then fire it one or two lower on the power. To select the power, drag backwards towards the left.

Archers seem about useless. Either don't fire at all or fire at their feet hitting their own side, and no way to practice.

At direwolf. So were the wars I mentioned. The saxons and vikings fought for generation with famous battles, the english barely holding on in the south. The vikings also invaded France and forced the french king to give them land. Normans were actually descendants of the vikings as norman was short for norse men.

The normans are the only archers that i had a good result.the best unit of the vikings are the warriors and the huscarls the best english unit.normans the knight.the best thing is demand a charge in the back of the enemy troop.

Really enjoyed this game. It could be multiplayer, but it could have a longer campaign. Tactics like this were employed in England and France(not to mention Germany and Scandinavia) for 500 years. Perhaps it should be named something else and then the campaign size could be increased. There are slight tweaks that could be made but still 5/5.

ite the whole taunting thing is complete bull. how is it when the enemy is down to 1 morale and i taunt it 20 times in a row with a good to brutal rating the morale stays fixed but when im down to 1 morale and the only men on the field left are my kings men all the enemy needs is 1 ok rated taunt and my remaining units desert? plus i wuz playin as the vikes and apparently they have the highest courage according to the specs display .... other than that the game is great.

taunting is stupid. they win because they call me names, yet i have slaughtered them up until the call me a low born orc for the 451st time.
