this is a EXTREMELY well thought out game, following a good timeline, and I think that it's only difficulty is archers aim. 4.999/5

I Love the game, especially the historical content of it. The music also adds to the feel. I wish they could make more games based on real history like this one.

i used an all melee viking squad vs a bunch of english wusses. i meleed like a champ, all the while im getting taunted and losing 15 points of morale at a time. i had 6 squads left and my morale was down to nothing by the time i approached the king and 1 archer squad. all my troops ran. FAIL!

for the campaign should be able to choose who you are in like the difficulty bit, so like easy is vikings medium norman and hard English, i get annoyed not being able to choose who i am and always changing who i am.

i just had a really REALLY close battle,so, it was vikings vs vikings and the enemy archers would never miss a shot,i was loosing men really quickly,i tried to attack with one of my squad tho they all died,then i assulted them with my king,some troops with a axes and then shot them with archers.I lost 500 men and he lost 400 men,we were already running BUT!i charged with my king and half of they team died,i had a squad of archers and a king left .

i lost my first and only battle on EASY MODE because a fu cki ng bug don't allow me to fight... i haven't the time for press the arrow keys...

@coolguy922, please think before you comment, 1066 is the year this happened... I'm sure the year 1067 wasn't nearly as exciting.

Needs another one! I love this game and have played the custom match over and over and over testing strategies and such. Wish many things for it and things. (An Army of Archers can take on an army of melee tip tip :). 5/5

It's funny how once both teams surrenderred from each other!Why didn't one team stay if the other was running away?oh yeah,a tip:always outnumber your opponent and DON'T USE THE TOUGHEST UNIT YOU HAVE (king,etc.) UNLESS YOU ARE FIGHTING WITH THE OPPONENTS KING!I learned this the hard way...
