i love this game this was my childhood game and seing it once more is the greatest thing i always used o put everything in to archers and couldnt beat 1st level but now i am more strategic thank god for this game

It is a good game.. and it had vikings in it which made me happy... now they need another one of the spartans, the romans, and the persians.

takes forever 2 load but is an awesome game that totaly deserves a sequel
maybe the war of independnce or ww1 or 2
just an idea but yeah 5 out of 5 for this 1

Oooo, loved it, but missing some things: for instance, lateral atttack is completely gone, mabey the ability to mke longer shield walls, more troop formations, terrain (?), and other things. Would love to see these things in a sequal (perhaps 869, when the danes invaded) + if you agree

takes soooo long to load but fantastic game. wish there was another for a different battle called something like idunno 1254 (made up date) and maby more soldiers and graphics. Altogether 5 out of 5 P>S rate + if you agree.

im still looking for 1066 second version please add more units and make it more fun show the enemies troops and your troops face not hiding on shadows and it will be more fun if we have buildings to build

I, as I always have, believe that taunting is over-powered in this game. Imagine, if you will, this scenario: The end of the battle is nearing, the tactical advantage is mine, my units are only a few turns away from victory. No prisoners were going to be taken. When we were only a few sqaures away, a shout rolled over the hills; "Ill-born fen rat!". At that, all of my hardened viking units' eyes brimmed with tears, and they turned and ran away, crying for their mums. Battle Rank: Peasant. Anyway, 4.5/5, great game.

this is EASY! I win by: Vikings lost:1890 Vikings fled:0 Normans lost:3863 Normans fled:1306.And my army has still 98 morale

How do I make them charge? The vikings always charged, but the english don't seem to, am I missing a command somewhere?
