i must admit it seems a bit foolish that my 300 man elite viking army should retreat after suffering 10 casualties from an archer unit he just killed.... not to mention that this won the battle for me and therefore running away did nothing whatsoever

watch out for morale it can save or kill you if you don't. tips: 1. any unit not dong anything TAUNT!! it lowers enemy morale and raises yours don't waste a unit. 2. if a unit is pink GET HIM OUT OF THERE. he may be about to run, instead fall back and use him to taunt the enemy. 3. watch your and the enemy kings, if you lose a king your morale will die and same with the enemy, i was losing one round but then i killed the king and half the enemy fled.

Excellent game, though the morale mechanic can be a little odd at times. First match I played the enemy had one (badly damaged) unit left, and I had six, with a force total of over 1500. At the beginning of the next turn all my units fled and the enemy won with around 60 soldiers left. Still, awesome game, five stars.

in the PvP battles, 2 out of 3 games i played were vs some sort of hacker, as in he had 9 varanian vangaurd and 5 archers..... not fun to play against :|

Trolololol i was loosing then i killed their king which lowered their morale down low, from then on they just ran away. GG good game.

My favorite part was where I ordered a row of warriors to move forward 2 spaces and one of them retreated as the other 2 walked off the screen. And then the game froze.

The only bad thing is when you have 6 swordsman and your king's bodyguard chasing down the last few units(typically archers) while their king's bodyguard is taunting you so the archers can pick you off and make your soldiers think taunts are hitting them harder than the arrows.

An amazing game, it is way too short though I would love to see a sequel of a different time period or historical event artwork was beautiful and the level of strategy kept me hooked! 5/5!

This is an absolutly fantastic game. I'd suggest you make a sequal. The artwork is breathtaking, the game makes you think, and the editing of the armies is such a great feature. I enjoyed playing this game very much.

This Game is AWESOME! The best example of how to create something big out of little using only flash. Looks like a school project or something :P it would make it even greather if there was some advertising, so more (good) players would join the multiplayer.... sadly there ain't nobody right now... or only few...

I think it would be awesomer with battle tactics, like flank attack (two unit attack from two sides), Pincer movements (One front, one side attack), Vice attacks (front and back) and so on. More troop types (say, light horse, heavy horse, ranged horse, light infantry, heavy infantry, spear [medium] infantry, light archer and heavy archer, with weakness/strengths against each other, more tactics, formations, special hero skills and bonuses, reinforcements and some way (maybe an ability) to bring together fleeing troops of a kind as one cohesive unit.

Is flanking under-powered? It seemed to me like besides the one-time attack when you move your troops into that position, you don't get any bonus, because the enemy attacks and defends against both units just as powerfully as before. Pretty unrealistic, but maybe it'd be too powerful with more bonuses given the enemy AI?
