love the norman sweep tactic: 4 calvry, 4 swords, calvary charge, go back, charge, and repeat. once they finally die, swordsman go in and decimate weakened enemy

I also noticed that the turn order is really screwed up. Sometimes a person will get two turns in a row at the beginning. I've lost battles because of this.

Great game yet moral system really fails so i give it a 4/5. good tactic with the normans, use calvary to flank the enemy and kill their archers and use your archers to kill the enemy melee units with a swordsman shield war up front to kill stragglers :D

hard mode is ......hard.... >.> ..... i wonder if i set it down a notch if i would win as easily as everyone else here.

Oh also, about who goes first--seriously, has no-one picked up the order of who gets first turn yet? Left side of the field gets first turn on odd-numbered turns (1,3,5,7,etc.) and right side of the field gets first turn on even-numbered turns (2,4,6,8,etc.). So don't complain about "they magically got the first turn"--there's a method to the madness!

P for Pickle--did you happen to lose your king? Cause that generally has...oh just a tiny, insignificant effect on morale :D. No, but I understand what you mean--taunt mechanics are highly overpowered for someone like me--who essentially types for a living--and way underpowered for your average Joe.

Outstanding. Probably the best game on the site. Though, it would be better if it had more levels and different terrains to go along with them, like the Bridge battle.

Screw this game. I mean, i can be completely winning, and my soldiers just give up and run away because they get taunted. I was seriously, just now in a spot where i had 5 units and the cpu had 1 badly injured unit. By some amazing stroke of luck, he went first. All five of my units ran away. Seriously, wtf.

The best challenge this game gives is the chance to fight other people... i mean you'd be suprised what tactics you learn fighting people on this

I agree with Chaor, I'm forgetting my history though, I know at about 1300 the Scottish rebelled, but were they under the rule of England in 1066? If so, maybe Scotland would have been cool. (Yes, because Scotland pwns.) Maybe you could make another one, like "1300" about the English, or like "1500" about the European explorers going to America. Just an idea. Good game, too. 4/5.

Klamp, thats an excellent strategy. Morale wins are the easiest. Keep your king protected, indeed avoid fighting with it. By taking an enemy king, expect AT LEAST 25 in morale damage. After that, the enemy flee like you wouldnt believe

Alright, once you figure it out, taunting is less dangerous, but morale still needs to be fixed.
Also, archers need a lot of work. It's hard until after the first battle to understand how to use archers well, and even then shots that appear to be perfect end up "ok" or "poor," and some that look wild get you a "good" shot.
4/5 to not bring it down. Needs work, but I love the idea and it's implemented well enough for a first try. Another would be great! If another one is made, there should be more maps available. A new setting would also be fun.
One last point: I would prefer to be able to attack vertically in melee, but I don't think that should be changed if you really like it in its current setup.

This game needs badges. This game cant have spartans because the Roman empire would have conquered the Greek empire by 1066. In fact, I think by 1066 the roman empire was dusted too, so if both facts i said are correct, having spartans in this game wouldn't be senceable.
