Use all archers, take out anything that moves forward and hit groups first; then use your leader to taunt. I won with only 1 unit dying and 77 moral when he had 0. Level 3 is VC25DWXLB.

I know it just a game, but its a little too inaccurate to call England the home of the Anglo-Saxons. That title was not given till after the invasion by King William of Normandy.

You should make a version of this is Alexander the Great! That would make this the most strategy-oriented game in the world! Defeat 1,000,000 with 47,000! :D

This game's has graphics are very nice. Very exellent gameplay, but it's too short! Overall loved it. long live the kings! This game deserves a 5/5

I liked the game a lot, but there are several improvements you could make. For instance, when you're fighting hand to hand with spear militia or swordsmen, and you have to hit the keys at the right time, there is no penalty for hitting the wrong button, so you could technically just button mash all four direction keys instead of hitting them in correct order. Also, in some cases, taunting is overpowered, either that or the Norman's have their feelings hurt too easily. lol

TIP: if you know how to use the archers well its better to have one more platoon of them than standard...Helps a lot...

A few flaws, but one of the best games on kong- the taunt system wasn't great, and in the battle of hastings, there was a cheap system you could use (made it the easiest battle)
Have two columns of four knights each- varies on your choice- then have the back row charge forward at the enemies. Provided your fingers don't get tired, you'll do around 350 damage (more or less depending on units). Next turn, send the knights that just charged to the front of your two column line. Have the new back units charge at the units that may or may not still be there. Move up more (duh) when there's noone there, and push your way through. You can make it through shield walls in 2 turns and the rest in 1 (or 2 depending on your fingertappingspeed).
+ if you think this should be fixed or if you just went now to try the knight strategy (or already used it)

Wonderful game 5/5!!! Isn't a game you could play for more than a week but by far one of the best games on Kongregate. The design and graphics, easy game play and realastic tactics. You are great game maker and need to make more. Someone said The Great Crusades and that sounds good. I just can't get over how stradegic it is one of the few games that isn't just a randomly brawl. Excelent game!!!

How does the turn thing work? Sometimes the opponent is able to make like 3-6 moves b4 I'm able to even make one. wtf??
