well... i REALLY like the story-angle on this. That alone made me give it a 5. if it had no story, i'd probably give it a 4, since it is hard to know how units can attack and such.

wow king zip dont blame the game on your sucky computer or flash player, this game wrecks you. I've been playing it before it came to kongregate.

encountered a bug: I charged at a shield wall in campaign #3 with a boar snout - they just ran through the shield wall and off the map. the game doesn't go on - all I hear is music + footsteps.

its a very good game its just very boring waiting for the people to do what you orderd them too!

The archers shoot somewhere, then when it zooms in the arrows are somewhere completely different. Even when they hit they do nothing... Other than that it's a good game.

Isn't it really weird that you lose against one remaining, half-broken squad with 6 squads on your side, and suddenly all of them flee? Very bad thing, as I had almost won.

Needs to be longer or have more campaigns, but a very fun little game. I love that it's not overly complicated like too many games that try to be everything. Only complaint is it would be nice to be able to pause the game mid-actions. Otherwise you're stuck there if you need to step away for something.

Boring. No balance.
Either you max out archers and just turtle it out, or you just abuse Norman cavalry.
Knights + charge + any unit not in a shield wall = utter unit elimination.

Any game with an obviously winning strategy doesn't deserve the label 'tactical'. Just max. out archers, and fire your opponents away.

Glitch: Charged an Enemy in Formation. Formation Broke. My Troops keep running through the wall. Through enemy troops and past enemy lines.
Seems a bit stupid as now i have to restart and i was close to winning

I've never commented a game yet, but now I have to make an exception. This game is one of the best flash games I've ever played, seriously. Very entertaining, couldn't be much better :) Please make more like this!

I like games like this, but I hate B.S. morale losses. On the first battle, it was my 8 units against his 1, and I lost due to morale - even though I had had higher morale the whole fight before that! Bull.

no honor in killing long range? just get 3 archer platoons and keep shooting, when they get to you they are half dead.... pfff, honor.....
